Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

So you are fine with the other person here doing that but when I do it it's passive aggressive? -

It's the VIP rewards area. They give you a code, you can get up to three, but only one per order like all physical rewards which is lame. -

If you are a VIP you can get up to three of the blue key chains for free. I've been a VIP for at least 15 years. Opps. I thought I said it. The Honey app / extension. It's $40 cash back on Police Station, Hotel, Jazz Club. $20 back on Book Store I think one other modular. The other $5 was from my credit card. -

Lego City 2023 Leaks, Rumours, Speculation And Discussion

Walmart.com has the Farm set for $45, that's the cheapest I have seen it online. Which is funny because it's now the same price, on sale, than it was at release for Europe. -
I guess I should just be happy LEGO didn't just make the Community Center a $160-$180 set just to make the Kitchen set seems more reasonably priced. haha Don't worry, LEGO seems to be going on sale more as the world economy collapses so we should get more sales. Brickset has a list of retiring sets this year. Kind of surprised at the 2023 ones that are retiring. Well the Grocery Store retiring isn't shocking at all. LEGO doesn't want our LEGO figures buying food. The list includes, donut shop, grocery store, camping trip, downtown flower and design, bubble tea, dog can rescue, cat hotel, salon, and skate park. Here's the list in case I missed any, plus the 2022 sets I thought already retired. https://brickset.com/sets/query-9753/page-2

It's a great set, I want it, just is super expensive to me when you can get three more floors for $73 more.

Really? I think it's one of the most overpriced Friends sets. It's a one story building for nearly $70. For twice as much you can get 4 stories with the Community center.

That's why I asked because it used to be September, but last year I thought it was October. If it's October we won't know for two more months or longer if no preorders. I'm hoping we get at least what it is in a leak even if no pictures.

I think 'town square / green' or would be nice. Have the square be where the tree is, all sets need a tree, and then have a town hall building as the main build. You can then add the building from Main Street to the sides of the square / green. Do we know the date of release? September or October?

All $10/$11USD City sets have prints. All 4+ sets have prints. Normally there is a print for a 2x2 tile / slope piece for the City exploring themes, like the Space Port, Arctic and Deep Sea, but I don't know if they are all prints. Then you have sets that are really weird and have random prints with stickers. Like the Custom Car Garage that has several prints for the spinning thing on the left side in the pictures, but not for the yellow signs or the pieces on the side of the cars, but the tops, those are prints. Really weird. The 35 Euro is still much cheaper than just 60377 because of LEGO's insulting, downright BS, pricing in the Americas. -

I've gotten the Marvel Modulars for like 40% off. That's not going to happen with VIP points. -

Instead of looking for in person deals I use my time on eBay, however the sales have been VERY 'meh' recently. I'm not having any luck getting the Jazz Club for cheap. My mom once found a UCS TIE {I don't know which one} and a Duplo Train for $10 at a tag sale. It was valued at $300 and that was several years ago because I have no idea where it went. -

That's awesome and kind of funny. I moved out of New York state and like a month after I saw on Craigslist some mom selling their child's LEGO collection for $175. There was a lot in general, but also a Grand Emporium which alone went for how much everything was listed for.
