  1. Do you have a username or tags to find this?
  2. I apologize if this has been posted, but does anyone have the DPCI for the Collectable Minifigures?
  3. I’ve heard this is a consistent issue with the set design. Moving the branches causes them to fall out randomly.
  4. True, but the models do seem to get sturdier and more solid. LEGO seems to be putting more pieces into smaller, more durable sets which is aggravating for size but nice for strength.
  5. What I think is most fascinating, and paramount among the repurcussions this situation will have is that not all of the 15-20% of toy sales that TRU makes up will translate elsewhere. 10-15% presumably will, but that 5-10% leftover will fall beneath the cracks. Potential buyers will shift purchases elsewhere which, over time, could equate to a percentage of former toy buyers who have decided to change habits and spend on other things/hobbies. I don't want to over-extend any predictions, and many people have stated (and I agree) that the toy industry itself is in no position of dying off entirely. I believe we are simply witnessing the growing pains of changing consumer habits that LEGO's past growth has succesfully hidden from view.
  6. Not to be that guy, as I know the dinosaur elements are more expensive to produce, but the does the inclusion of one raptor in a scene defined by two raptors bother anyone else? I know it needs to meet the $40 price, but man...
  7. This is a great thread. I’ve enjoyed looking at everyone’s dream lists for $800 retail. I’d have to go with the following: 10195 Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker - $249.99 8038 The Battle of Endor - $99.99 7783 Original Batman I Batcave - $89.99 4504 Millennium Falcon - $100.00 4483 AT-AT - $100.00 7257 Ultimate Lightsaber Duel - $30.00 6209 Slave 1 - $49.99 10174 UCS Imperial AT-ST - $79.99 Total: $799.95
  8. It's most certainly just box art and not actually indicative of a light brick. I don't think TLG would put light bricks in a smaller set considering the price of the piece and the fact that sets in the $40 range are conceivably far more mass-produced than the bigger ones. It's a shame the box art gives off that impression because a light brick would be wonderful!
  9. Eager for a photo on this one. I've heard the updated Phasma is worse than the TFA version.
  10. God I hope not the ISD... just managed to pick one up for $900 brand new/sealed and was planning on holding onto it awhile. If they re-release it I'll just have to bust this one open.
