I saw this on Brickshelf before, and I saved a picture on my computer because it is so nice! I like the bougainvillea flowers among the white and blue motif. Beautiful work!

I don't know what happened exactly.... I went to the LEGO store at Anaheim Downtown Disney and expected to buy the pyramid from Pharaoh's Quest. Then I decided I wanted Hogwarts Castle, but there was none. Next thing I noticed, I walked out clutching Diagon Alley (with a free Sensei Wu keychain), giggling like a little kid! Oh yeah, I believe there are 2 sets left--in case anyone wants to get one.

I would think the armor is one of the collectible items, like the helmet and the shield. But then I saw that the armor is also in the submarine set... *shrugs*

The flying mummies remind me of the cartoon series Mummies Alive. Anyone ever heard of it?

To Sandy, yep, the underworld looked a lot like Dante's Inferno. There was no Cerberus, Elysium, or Fields of Asphodel.

Thanks! Aw, poor Hades, always given the role of the bad guy. Even in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians movie, they replaced Chronos with Hades as the villain.

One reason Clash of the Titans tried to ride off the success of Avatar was that the movie was hastily converted into 3D after the movie-makers saw the success of Avatar. Not surprisingly, people complained about the 3D version... Does anyone know why they called it Clash of the Titans, but there are no Titans at all? I think Olympians make more sense.

I went to Downtown Disney to watch Clash of the Titans. Strolled into the LEGO shop, and the next thing I know I walked out with a big lego bag containing Battle of Alamut... Uh, what just happened?

Yea, the kraken in Clash of the Titans is more true to the Greek version, while the kraken in Pirates of the Caribbean is the Western version. Anyway, I really enjoyed the movie. I thought the trailer looked kind of cheesy, especially with the rock music, but it felt very mythological. The sisters/fates remind me of Pan's Labyrinth, and the desert people... they look like the "Persians" in 300. Clash of the Titans - 300 desert people - people who compare it to the 1980s versoin = epic

The exterior of Hogwarts is solid! I don't understand the gray tiles on the Great Hall though. The dementors look scary, finally. Bellatrix! And Luna looks... loony.

I never bought Cafe Corner, Market Street, Green Grocer, or the Fire Brigate. But maybe I'll get the Grand Emporium... because your video is very convincing! The music fits too. I felt like I'm in a shopping mall.
