  1. Are we sure it will not be the 1989 Batmobile tires?
  2. Where there realy tons though? I remember the late 80s and early 90s with great fondness, but I am not so sure there were a greater quantity of complex high end sets released back then compared to today.
  3. Aeroplanes are cool and this also looks like a sweet parts pack. I like it a lot.
  4. Looks like an ok set, even if it might be a step back from the Koenigsegg. But the price is a bit steep for my liking. And I'm sorry, but can we please make these new "official lego set"-topics uniform with the older ones? I fear they will get lost in the feed otherwise.
  5. Is this accurate? I mean the price could be accurate but with 42171 having 1643 pieces compared to 1434 for 42141, is it realistic for the next model in the series to lose almost 300 pieces?
  6. I guess you're right in that it could be difficult to remove in some applications, though that is probably true for some already existing elements as well. I see your point. I am just disapointed with the loose fitment when trying to build a sturdy beam construction. Wasn't aware of this specific purpose. It looks like the part is quite common in technic sets as well. It feels a bit too common for it to just be a nice bonus, but who knows.
  7. I wonder when there will be a pin 3L WITH friction ridges with stop? I am a bit underwhelmed by the 3L pin without friction ridges with stop.
  8. I think the W1 looks rather sweet, though it might not have the same elegant body shape as the P1. Very happy LEGO went with the P1 anyway. Who knows, maybe we'll get a 1:8 scale W1 ten years from now? :)
  9. If you compare the front of 42115 to that of the real Sian, you see clear differences. It doesn't feel like that was subject to as much debate as the P1 is. To me the LEGO P1 looks great, though I have yet to see the set in real life.
  10. Very cool. Any hints on a release date for the instructions?
  11. Very impressive indeed. A car I would like to own but likely will not. Well presented and a beautiful designed. Looks great i red. That gearbox looks interesting.
  12. Both are nice models. I must say that the hood looks much better in the profile shot of the New Holland than when viewed from an angle. I think it might have to do with the black pieces at the front of the hood. Would be interesting to see what it would look like all blue. Also I am not too fond of the exhaust of the IH. Looks a bit too bulky. Non the less, you have done a great job with these tractors managing to fit a lot of function into a rather small package. Very well done!
  13. Playing around with the side view slider a bit I feel an argument could be made to move the front axle one stud forward together with the a-pillar mounting points in order to inprove the proportions a bit. I think the absence of a windshield does distort the image a bit and making it so that the profile of the car feels more off than it actually is. Also, I thought right from the beginning seing the bigger wheels introduced with the 42143 Ferrari that LEGO should just have made a larger diameter tire while keeping the old size wheel for these models. Having said that, I do like the overall looks of this new 42172 supercar, even though I can see some of the sculpting of the body isn't quite true to the real P1. I have yet to see the LEGO model in real life though.
