  2. Nice to see he looks at fan mocs and he likes them! Congrats
  3. I've seen it on Itavix account, I don't think it's so relevant Concerning Cat licence, I really hope it was not for one project only!
  4. According to Instagram sources, the Supra is 42204.
  5. I'm not into old cars but this model is really well done! I like also the driver. Well done!
  6. I have adjusted excavator proportions and added third pneumatic function to control the bucket independently. Instructions available here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-194449/technicprojects/volvo-ec230-electric-excavator-42175-mod/#details
  7. Volvo CE is uptading its excavator range, introducing 3 new models (230, 400, 500) with a revised design and logo. The EC230 Electric, and all the other excavators of the range, have not yet been updated, so TLG did the right thing. Also the number of railings is correct. Maybe the only wrong thing is that TLG used the new Volvo logo, even if the EC230 Electric still uses the old one. You find the EC230 Electric specifications and product brochure among the electric range of the Volvo CE website (and from the technical drawings you will see that there are some wrong proportions but that's Lego...)
  8. Looking at the video, I'm always more convinced that Lego must introduce another kind of rims+tires for these small cars. Something more modern/sporty. The shape of the car body without wheels is almost perfect, but those old wheels with "big" tyre profile are really bad looking.
  9. I agree with you, but sometimes you get a display model in technic form which is better-looking than a model team model. I mean that with all the most recent panels you can create shapes that are impossible to create with bricks. It is a different style, you have to accept the holes and flex axles, but still very eye-catching.
  10. I've seen the work in progress pictures on Instagram and I must say the final result is much better than I thought! You did a great job.
  11. I think the answer is in the previous post by @lmdesigner42 . If you have ever operated a small cylinder with a manual pump, you should have noticed that one single push on the pump completely extends/rectacts the cylinder in a fraction of a second. This system looks much more smoother and will give the correct amount of air to move the cylinders slowly.
  12. Unluckily this bucket has got the connection points at a very different position than an excavator bucket, it would rotate with a wrong pivot. Should add some liftarms to create the connection points at the correct position.
  13. The counterweight of the excavator is much better here... simpler and better shaped. The whole proportions are better.
  14. Lego City news are more functional and good looking than Technic news I've just seen images of the tracked excavator and the 16-wheels mobile crane, and they are amazing.
  15. Imagine one excavator with one of these hubs in the undercarriage and one in the turret. Much more compact than the current setup and with 2 rechargeable batteries. Not bad at all.
  16. Impressive and really big!
  17. Eh yes, I was also looking for some orange bars to simulate ladders/handrails... in the end I could only add those bars on the roof, just a small touch of orange.
  18. Thanks! I hope somebody, one day, will be able to build a bigger version, with full suspensions and maybe some motorozed functions, I know there are many talented mocers out there
  19. When I saw the Kamaz 8x8 Arctic truck for the first time, I thought is could be a perfect subject for a Lego Technic moc. The truck is an 8x8 articulated hauler, with a tipping bed and a small crane. My model uses 56mm tractor tyres, so it is more or less in minifigure scale. Functions: - 8x8 with fake engine - articulated steering with HoG - rear pendular suspensions - tipping bed - operating crane It is not super detailed as it should be, but for the scale I think it is enough.
