  1. Very well done! I especially like the bodywork. Great!
  2. The production was discontinued some years ago, so I don't think they will produce a licensed model of a thing of the past...
  3. Speculations or some kind of confirmed info? Backhoe loader is an excavator? I'm quite sure Volvo does not produce backhoe loaders.
  4. Thank you for your answers, yes I was meaning the large treads. So I will try some wheels with tyre.
  5. Hello! I have a question about sprocket wheels. Now we have 3 dimensions: the small one (about 3L), the regular one (about 5L), and the new big one (about 7L) Are there any other mid-sized wheels/sprocket wheels for the technic treads? So other ways to make tracked vehicles without using these 3 sprocket wheels? Thank you.
  6. Surely it is not the Lego version.. the rims are also "not Lego". It looks the red panels have a differend shade of color, maybe this is the difference between original and fake parts...
  7. Bugatti was released in May or June, so can we consider a spring wave? The december sets are the next years sets.
  8. Hello! This is my latest model: Volvo EC750E in 1:22 scale. Starting point is the 8043 "ultimate" with 6 motors for 6 functions. The undercarriage is 90% the same, I only had to make it 4 studs longer, and added some details. It also has tracks tensioners. 2 of the motors are hidden in the panel-built arm. In this way, I removed the universals joints in the pivot of the main boom, so it works more fluently, and the arm can be thinner (3 studs at the beginning, then 5 studs). The LAs are a bit shorter for this excavator, but I'm quite satisfied by the range of movement. The battery box is on the back and acts as a counterweight. The stickers are home-made. Pneumatic tubes are fake of course... I will make a video in the next days (and better photos). Happy new year to everybody!
  9. Very good job! I Always think that motorized models should have a "technic" heart, this model is more brick-built than technic, but it has a lot of functions anyway!
  10. Hello, very nice! Can you post a picture of your village?
  11. I'm building a volvo ec750e excavator in the size of the 8043 and the linear actuators / pneumatics are a little too short. A bigger excavator with the new sprocket wheels would require very long actuators / pneumatics. So, or the excavator will not have the new sprockets wheels, or we will see also bigger actuators / pneumatics. Or the new sprockets wheels will not be used in an excavator.
  12. @Sariel can you spot the new sprocket wheels applied to these wheels https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=15038c03#T=C (but with black rims). I'm thinking to improve the look of the 42030 wheels. Thank you!
  13. Yes, I did not understand where the photos of the real things ended, and where the photos of the Lego version began. Great job!
  14. mpj replied to sheo's post in a topic in LEGO Licensed
Great job! Looking at the excavator I see that the first images "in motion" have been mirrored. Also in the movie are they mirrored? What to you mean with "The motion blur effect in the photos was achieved using practical effects" ? Again, many compliments!
  15. Very nice model, compact and clean design. Can you make a photo together with your previous model?
  16. I love this huge model! I like the pneumatic functions controlled by a remote control. What I don’t like is that it is very difficult to move the machine due to the tubes going to the remote, so I would have not motorized the transmission/steering. Another thing I think it is not 100% conform to the original is the shape of the front arm, and the attachment of the bucket in the wrong pivot. The most original feature of the model is the rotating seat. Summary: very very good job!
  17. I missed the finished model, I like it very much. Many compliments
  18. The solution is water spray ;-) Come on, it is just a contest, fantasy can go further than reality.
  19. Hello! I show here my entry to the latest Lego Ideas contest: the Volvo Excavadrone. This project born in my mind in the middle of the contest: at the beginning I was thinking about a modular construction machine, but it was not something “special”. Then I started thinking out of the box, and a flying machine was born! All functions are manual: Arm and bucket movement, with 3 Las Turret rotation Solar panel movement Flipping wheels/propellers Detachable operator cab Independent suspensions The model was a runner up winner of the contest, so I’m really proud of it. I hope you like it too.
  20. When the 2h list is revealed usually? During the toy fair?
  21. Question about the track loader: why did they use black panels with yellow stickers, instead of yellow panels? I know those yellow panels are very rare and expensive…… I also noticed a strange/new use of the small rollers inside the tracks.
  22. I like it very much, especially with the original tracked wheels. It looks futuristic!
