  1. I am not able to find the picture.. is anyone able to provide a picture or link?
  2. Whatever the Harvester may be.. Lumber related or Agricultural, I would be still thrilled with a farm theme. I would like to add in a small farm into my Lego layout... all the food for sale by venders and being sold in restaurants has got to come from somewhere? Right? lol. As for new farm animal.. what about sheep? We could have some minifigs wearing spiffy knitted sweaters to go with said sheep. On that note of new things.. I was thinking about the City Minifig packs.. we already have a park, outdoor and beach themed packed.. why not go with a workers set and have a mix of workers.. construction, farm workers, vet, business people with a little coffee stand, train yard workers, repair workers.. I think it could be a great set!
  3. I heard somewhere.. not sure where, that Lego wanted the Harry Potter sets to be a green line. If that is true I can see at least 3 years of releases. I also think the HP sets are replacing a Castle Theme like LotR did for now. We can still get a Dragon or two out of this series.. crossing fingers and bricks! lol. It would be great if they did do a Quidditch battle pack to expand the Quidditch set. Perhaps as time goes on we could get "darker" battle packs that could include some Death Eaters, more Dementors and other characters. I would be thrilled with a Hagrids Hutt, the Leaky Cauldron and Ollivanders Wand Shop for all those extra wands I have been accumulating with the Collectible minifig series!
  4. I just finished building my Great Hall.. and I have to say it is bigger than I thought it would be and is in my opinion a beautiful set! I have a suspicion that at some point we will see a re-do of the Basilisk snake in a Set that well be a part of the Castle and hopefully Moaning Myrtle will come with that set as she would be a great addition to the "ghosts". I think both Fawkes and the Basilisk we have currently are sort of place holder until they get around to doing them in a themed set and I could see a Chamber of Secrets set in the future. Thank you for posting this in-depth review. I found it quite helpful!
  5. If that is a list and set numbers of some new sets for the Winter 2019.. I am excited but slightly confused. I was under the impression that Lego didn't make any houses that were on fire as to not scare children with play sets that resemble real time situations that could have fire injuries and death. If am not mistaken we have had things like dumpsters and abandoned buildings that have been on fire but nothing that a minifigure would be living in. The above fire sets sound like things are getting more intense in Lego City lol.. with a Burger Bar Fire Rescue and bbq burn out. Perhaps the Lego theme of Heroes needed.. is a move forward to rescue themed sets from fires now? I am hoping for a farm series. Bring back cows, chickens and goats! Oh.. and crops with the new green plant pieces. I think one is overdue..so I am excited to see what the harvester looks like. Big smile and cheers for the Garbage truck.. hopefully a Recycling truck is not far behind.
  6. Oh if they did a Safari theme.. they could do a Zebra. I would like to see a return of the "horse" figure.
  7. When well we hear news of the new city sets that are due to come out in Winter 2019?
  8. Hi everyone! It is very possible with the new City Centre set that is coming out that includes a small hotel build, that we may get a Modular Hotel and if so it would be great if we could get that. That being said I wonder if Lego would consider doing Modular expansion sets.. such as how they did with the Ninjago Dock set. If they did a Hotel.. wouldn't it be neat if they could do an add on kit for people that want to build more floors. I know it is unlikely they would.. but it would be great! I myself like the silly tongue in cheek jokes they have included in the Lego Modular sets such as a laundry mat next to the bank for "money laundering". I think I would be thrilled if they did a Police Station with a Doughnut Shop next to it! I am actually surprised that a Police Modular hasn't been built yet.. considering we have a Fire Station and a Town Hall. Also I think they could do a Doctors Office, with some sort of sporting good store attached to it. All of those adventuring Lego Minifigs could need to see a doctor after a Kayak accident.. another fun way to connect a few businesses.
  9. Do we know there will be 3 more retailer exclusives? I would imagine if there are, toys r us will get one.. and the lego company. I am still holding out for a Mosasaur set and at least something with another herbivore. Lego should just go all out and make a Brachiosaurus.. I am pretty sure they have been featured in all the movies at some point. Sigh.
  10. Mattybrick replied to Praetorian_'s post in a topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This is spectacular! Makes me want to get motivate and try my hand at making my own medieval Lego builds!
  11. Possible Spoiler ahead.. I just saw a video from the Toy Fair that went up.. where a guy does a walk through the Fallen Kingdom toys. We see the lego sets at the end of the video.. I agree that the entire inside of the Manor looks unfinished and sparse compared to the upcoming Harry Potter Great Hall. What is interesting is that there was rumour that we might get the Mosasaurs in a set and I can see how that would be possible. Nothing though is shown about this being a possibility. No sets are shown other than the ones we know about. When he walked through the mattel sets he showed us a small yellow underwater craft.. that would be powered by a single driver or two people at most. It has two arms on the front of it.. one that looked to have a saw blade. It looks like a small underwater craft that would be used to explore an underwater wreckage. On the art work behind it is a picture of the Mosasaur looking to be getting ready to attack it. The underwater craft looks similar to something we have seen in the lego underwater sets such as Aquanauts, Atlantis sets. When I heard rumours of a possible Submarine attack.. I was expecting a bigger craft. This is a small craft. There is speculation that from a JP site for the upcoming Evolution game that the Mosasaur has somehow escaped its enclosure and is patrolling the waters near the island as part of its territory. Apparently the giant aquarium had water that flowed in and out from the ocean from a tunnel which is a possible way it got out either with help or circumstance. In the trailer we see dinos and the characters fall into the sea from the cliff.. imagine if the Mosasaur is patrolling those waters.. it would be snack time for it.. yum yum! Hoping we get a set with the Mosasaur in it!
  12. This is an awesome army! They remind me of a Warhammer army! I have a couple Gamorreans that I use in my medieval towns as Orcs.
  13. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this already, and if so sorry to repeat old rumours.. this year marks the 25 anniversary for the first Jurassic Park Movie. I heard a rumour of the possibility of a 25th Anniversary set that features the kitchen/control room from the first movie where the raptors attack the adults and kids. If this is true this might explain the plain brown raptor? Could most likely be a rumour and nothing more.
  14. Yup I think I read that. I just recalled it being the 25th anniversary of the movie. Its hard to say what will happen. My instincts tell me that we wont get anything though unfortunately.. but time will tell.
  15. Not to try and get to many people excited.. but this year marks the 25th anniversary for the Nightmare Before Christmas movie. Perhaps we may get a set in the winter wave to tie in with this.. ? As much as I would love to see a whole line based on this series, I could see getting a small set or even a polybag set.
