  1. My jaw dropped on the desk. Amazing!! I love both Themes and combined to this beautiful MOC makes me cry. The gate and the details in the wall are very beautiful. I also love this creative camera and the arches on the first image, left side. I wish you would tell us a bit about the build process. The backstory, the reason why you build it, how long it took and if you encountered any seroius problems.

    This is an amazing machine.
  3. Wow. What a wonderful job! I love this island. Just perfect! I do especially love the little cabin. A lot of work went into this.
  4. Hey-ho Long time since I last wrote on EB. I was checking out the latest state of the art for Lego train resources and stumbled over these beauties on BrickTracks. https://www.bricktracks.com/product-page/r104-switch-track-kits I thought the Brickstarter Program failed. But it seems you can pre-order this item. Expected ship date is February 1st. I am wondering why @coaster did not wrote something. Or am I missing something, which would be typical for me.
  5. I LOVE your ship. You did an fantastic job! I also love to see the use of my anchor approach! You managed to build the two arms in a way that it looks realistic which I didn't get. Very nice! Can't wait to see further images.
  6. This is how real ropes are made. Thanks dude for sharing.
  7. You could use these sails. But I don't know if they are the correct size. But you can of course use several side by side for one mast. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=32652&name=Cloth Sail Tattered Long with 4 Round Holes and 6 Ripped Holes&category=[Cloth]#T=C&C=69 https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=32653&name=Cloth Sail Tattered Short with 2 Round Holes and 5 Ripped Holes&category=[Cloth]#T=C&C=69
  8. It's a brick built hull so it's a GO for me. I want to know how they did it.
  9. Yes! I definitely can say they did a great job for a sailing ship. Everything is just so well rounded and it look gorgeous. If there will not come a Pirate Theme and this Set stays as a single, it will get very expensive very quickly after EOL. Because the parts used are just amazing and some are quite rare up to unique. Similar to the Old Fishing Store. It got up in price very quickly. Now it costs minimum 270€ up to 480€ new.
  10. + The Base Stands on three 32x32 and three 16x32 Groundplates. Yes I have. Here it is on Bricksafe. (.io)
  11. Yeah. Something like a waterplate is always only for guys who already have the parts or don't care about money. And there are enough of these candidats out there.
  12. Just to make it clear. The Base I built does weight 2kg. Excluding the set. xD
  13. Lego has published the PDF Instruction Manual of the Barracuda Bay!
  14. So I put a layer of plates from outside to inside Black-DarkBluishGrey(thin)-LightGrey-Tan. On Top of that layer there is a layer Tile 1x2 in Trans-Light Blue.Tile 1x2 in Trans-Light Blue. The waves are just 1x2 Plates in Trans-Clear. It costs around 300€. with over 1300 Tiles. Weights 2kg.
  15. I built a little ocean around the Set. I hope you like it. Set model from @Elusys Ra Arwal.
  16. Yeah. Maybe a Tan 32x32 Plate and then one layer plates in different colours incl. replacing the water plates from the set and then a layer of trans tile in different blues.
  17. Do you have recommendations for what tile colour to use for the water so it looks nicer?
  18. I bought mine too and got an confirmation E-Mail. The Servers seemed not to crash at all.
  19. Wow. Seeing the render in Stud.io it seems to have more of the vibe of the original submission now. Much darker and natural.
  20. That point is pure speculation and is not covered with what the Designer Milan, the Minifig Designer and the Fan Designer Pablo said. If you insist on this point you have to prove the opposite. (I know that you just made your thoughts. Nothing against you. But other people tend to overlook that and take your thoughts as state) There are several interviews out there. I want especially point out the Interview from Assembled with both Set designers and the Fan Designer Pablo on YT. In the StoneWars Article mentioned earlier here is also a poll made about the Set. I wanted to translate it for you. Polls: Your opinion about the Pirates of Barracuda Bay As always, we want to know what you think of the set for this big new release. First of all, we want to hear your general opinion about the finished Pirates of Barracuda Bay and whether you're going to buy it for the release on April 1st, 2020, or whether you want to buy the set later or not at all. What do you think about LEGO Ideas 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay? I like it a lot, I'll wait until it's available at a lower price. (46%, 1,060 votes) An ingenious set, I'll go for it right off! (36%, 840 votes) I like the set, but I'm not buying it. (13%, 302 votes) I don't like Pirate Bay at all. (5%, 127 votes) Number of votes: 2.329 But what we also want to know is how you feel about the final LEGO Ideas set compared to the original design. Do you like the changes that the LEGO designers have made here, or would you have preferred the original fan design, even if that meant not being able to convert Pirate Bay into a new version of the Black Seas Barracuda? What do you think of the design of the final Pirate Bay? I think both designs have their advantages and disadvantages. (38%, 818 votes) I like the final set better than the Ideas draft! (32%, 679 votes) I like the Ideas draft better than the final set! (30%, 644 votes) I don't like the design or the final set. (0%, 10 votes) Number of votes: 2,151

Very nice model. Well done. =)
  22. I'm very happy about the pure existence of this set. I'm ok with the transition without the raised baseplate and the hulls which are not available anymore. I had a raised dopamine level during the evening when I saw the first images on 24th. Regarding the ship it is amazing. It's the most accurate and detailed sailing ship lego has ever built. Seeing the prices of the Imperial Flagship this ship here was definitely needed. The rigging could get a bit customization though. But the side walls and the stern are just amazing solved for a lego set. I am very happy.
  23. The Liveticker is online https://zusammengebaut.com/live-ticker-lego-news-new-york-toy-fair-2020-88294/
  24. Are Star Wars Sets often coming that late?
  25. Hey! It has no studshooters.
