Did I miss what the GWP is with the tower?

Deadpool was released in a set. It came with Wolverine and a helicopter I think.

Lightsaber appears to be sold out on US store. Not adding to bag right now. Glad I got my order in right at 9:00.

Is the buildable statue the Baby Yoda, or is that a 2020 set?

Harder to predict given the current times, but I picked up Diagon Alley from the Lego Store a couple days after it came out. Maybe 2 days after, and they sold out later that day. They still had the promo brickheads, but were running low and expected to sell out soon. I would have ordered online, but waited too long and the promos were unavailable online. I think people are avoiding the stores more, so you should have some additional leeway. I would recommend going on day 1, but don't think you would need to camp out/line up/etc. But what do I know. It does seem like more people are buying larger sets, and things seem to be selling out faster than in years past.

That seems to be the case, and the reason I came here now. I had assumed I'd missed something. I'm hoping Lego will send out an email later this afternoon about the VIP sale and GWP.

I too enjoy the dioramas. Some of the minifigs were nice, but overall, I have a lot more fun with the buildable things. I think the buildable R2 has been my favorite so far.

Ha, yeah, I mean the Ewok Village. I still have my endor bunker set, which holds up fairly well. We put it together about a year ago when unearthing old sets that had been stored away.

For me, the Cantina was the scene that pulled me into this world. I'm thrilled for this set, and think it will look great on a shelf. Which is ultimately what's going to happen with it. I'd love Jabba's Palace to get the same treatment. The Cloud City or Endor sets didn't grab me, though I'm sure they're lovely to put together, so they were easy to pass on. The cantina is a day1 purchase for me.

I don't think the GWP is or should be tied to/an add on for the massive set being released. Not everyone getting the GWP is buying a $350-$500 set, its often one or two smaller sets. As for picking Yoda over the others, size is probably a factor, as well as a way to test the waters before releasing some of the perhaps more appealing ones for sale.

I feel like people were complaining about the microscale stuff, too. I'm okay with them mixing it up a bit. I don't think it needs to be the same thing over and over. I really like the lightsaber, and look forward to getting that with the Cantina.

I'm sold on it. Anyone heard about any GWP or other promos for when this launches?
