Did I miss what the GWP is with the tower?

Deadpool was released in a set. It came with Wolverine and a helicopter I think.

Lightsaber appears to be sold out on US store. Not adding to bag right now. Glad I got my order in right at 9:00.

Is the buildable statue the Baby Yoda, or is that a 2020 set?

Harder to predict given the current times, but I picked up Diagon Alley from the Lego Store a couple days after it came out. Maybe 2 days after, and they sold out later that day. They still had the promo brickheads, but were running low and expected to sell out soon. I would have ordered online, but waited too long and the promos were unavailable online. I think people are avoiding the stores more, so you should have some additional leeway. I would recommend going on day 1, but don't think you would need to camp out/line up/etc. But what do I know. It does seem like more people are buying larger sets, and things seem to be selling out faster than in years past.

That seems to be the case, and the reason I came here now. I had assumed I'd missed something. I'm hoping Lego will send out an email later this afternoon about the VIP sale and GWP.

I too enjoy the dioramas. Some of the minifigs were nice, but overall, I have a lot more fun with the buildable things. I think the buildable R2 has been my favorite so far.

Ha, yeah, I mean the Ewok Village. I still have my endor bunker set, which holds up fairly well. We put it together about a year ago when unearthing old sets that had been stored away.

For me, the Cantina was the scene that pulled me into this world. I'm thrilled for this set, and think it will look great on a shelf. Which is ultimately what's going to happen with it. I'd love Jabba's Palace to get the same treatment. The Cloud City or Endor sets didn't grab me, though I'm sure they're lovely to put together, so they were easy to pass on. The cantina is a day1 purchase for me.

I don't think the GWP is or should be tied to/an add on for the massive set being released. Not everyone getting the GWP is buying a $350-$500 set, its often one or two smaller sets. As for picking Yoda over the others, size is probably a factor, as well as a way to test the waters before releasing some of the perhaps more appealing ones for sale.

I feel like people were complaining about the microscale stuff, too. I'm okay with them mixing it up a bit. I don't think it needs to be the same thing over and over. I really like the lightsaber, and look forward to getting that with the Cantina.

I'm sold on it. Anyone heard about any GWP or other promos for when this launches?

I tried to order a few hours ago, and couldn't get the GWP online. I was able to add it to my cart yesterday, but got distracted with work. In my experience, all of the GWP are just "while supplies last".

I had to go to the Lego Store to pick up the Diagon Alley set for my wife, since the online store had run out of the promotional items. I was pleased to find out that they're selling complete sets of minifigs for the new blind bags. I was told that if there were any duplicates, they were allowing returns. I've historically been pleased with the Lego stores, as they're always extremely helpful in finding what minifig everyone is looking for, but I thought this was above and beyond.

That's probably true. It can be difficult dealing with paypal & their timing requirements, especially for pre-orders and refunds.

I didn't even know the Baby Yoda model was going to be a thing. How did I miss that. That's a must purchase.

I was surprised how long this was available. I expected the worst. I was also surprised by the limit of 3. I would have assumed 1.

I wouldn't call this calendar overly ST focused. I feel like they've been pretty across the board for the calendars.

The NES is probably the best lego set I've built in a long time. Really cool seeing this come together. Haven't started on the TV yet.

I think it might just be the day they get the minifig.

Any word on what time the Bespin set drops on Target.com?
