  1. Who's mini? Good luck , Lil' Leo! Talk to you in a month.
  2. Captain BeerBeard replied to Ecclesiastes's post in a topic in Guilds of Historica
Very nice! One question, where are all the red flowers Avalonia is famous for?
  3. Looks good! Makes me want to pull out my box of stems. Maybe an orange round plate under some of the stems would make the carrot patch more lively. Love the scarecrow.
  4. I just voted for DMax.Tie breaker? Had no idea this challenge was going on.
  5. So any Avalonians building for challenge 6? I'm not sure myself if I'm in for this one. It seem like one heck of a tough challenge.
  6. Fresh layers of sand would be more common. Those pictures of millions of years of where water used to cover American deseret are pointless. GoH is fantasy based. We don't build from reference from the last billion years of our earth.
  7. Ska, you've been here for a long time. So, I have only criticism to offer here. The dark tan layer of earth should be lower than the sand layer. Your elevation of the hill should have a bit more slope pieces coming out at us to create a more natural flow of elevation. The altbricks parts look really bad. The brown stems stick out really bad with their direction change. They don't match well with real LEGO. You could have added a bit more to your sandy terrian by changing the ground levels up a bit.
  8. In America we call this "pimp". Awesome job!
  9. I have a slave army of an entire dwarf clan. Free Dwarves are not allowed in most Avalonian states.

That window trick is cool. I never thought to do that. Diggin' the arch.
  11. I've used dwarves in the beginning of Historica. They're actually on their way to reinforce Avalonian elves.
  12. I'm stealing some of your idea's. Awesome build!
  13. @ZC That's word! Whateve's! Do what you want, people.
  14. @Gabe Them's ain't elves! Those are AAG . There was something between ecc and rouge. I'm not sure myself but there is reinforcements from Antyria, Avalonia. Regardless, I stand behind my countrymen to the death.
  15. I personally like both but not mixed. The fleshies, I think are more for the big boys.Yellow is more for peeps that can't except change. So naturally I like both.
  16. That turned out pretty good. I like the rope part used as a vine.
  17. I get a late 80's vibe here from the building style. The sign is more vintage like 60's or 70's. It's a WIP so it's hard to give any criticism. Looks pretty city to me.
  18. This is awesome! What is that piece used for the dome? I l love the horse jumping the water. I used to use those hinge brick things for horse rearing when I was little. This moc stands on it's own so don't worry. Keep'em coming!
  19. Captain BeerBeard replied to "LL"'s post in a topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I love the broken glass effect. I have to say honestly, I think this moc suffers from overuse of techniques but I still like it. The scene is very recognizable. Keep'em coming!
  20. Thanks for the extra pics! I love it.
  21. I like the ship but am actually more interested with the island. Is there any chance of more pics coming our way?
  22. This build gives me a feeling you've been studying old instructions. I hate to start a sentence with have you, but have you? This has such a classic feel to it.
  23. Thanks rouge! That scout is worm food.
