Which guild should I join?
Avalonia sounds like the place for your collection. We need some new members too.

Sounds good. I'm working on a ruin/ork camp still undecided and a farm and a smaller scene that hasn't materialized yet.

Guilds of Historica Survey
You guys shouldn't be worried about piece count if you want to join. I had almost no pieces when I started. My first moc was a terribly plain and very ugly 64x64 forest scene. I learned how to stretch my collection out when bulding to get detail with as little as possible. Now my collection is so big I can have multiple large mocs built with extreme details but I still conserve my parts and better than when I started. It's true that you need to spend a ton of money to be noticed as a builder in the castle world but GoH is a great place to get some experience and feedback until your collection grows to epic proportions. GoH is just a facade for building castle mocs in four or five different geographical styles. You shouldn't be intimidated to join. A lot of us use LotR figure parts too. It's ok to take those LotR sets apart and build something else.

I love the wagon design. Cool to see the bone horse get some action too. Keep'em coming.

@Zach Mills Are you ever going to actually make a moc? I really don't get that your Avalonian. You have made more comments than anyone but no actual builds.

Guilds of Historica Introduction/General Discussion Thread
@rogue More people should have a say in it. As of now it seems like everyone who has put countless hours and thousands of dollars in to this has no say. We were promised that GoH would be ours, the people that made GoH. Giving the people who shaped this project freedom might be a good start. This GoH thing only works because of all the contributers not because of regs and mods and fellows. Without the people there is no GoH or Eurobricks.

Guilds of Historica Introduction/General Discussion Thread
So what I get from all of this is that GoH is not ours like promised. It's the Zcerberus show. We have no say unless we agree with Zcerberus. That's what GoH is boiling down to? Why is GoH about one person? Why don't all of us make our own rules and decisions? Like promised?

Damaged Armor?
All of my armor from everthing from PoP and PotC on is flawless besides one or two printing issues. I have over a hundred and none have this. I've gotten some LotR recently and they are flawless. I would be calling customer service if I was you.

The Druids Grave
Nice! I love the tree. Great rock work as usual. My only complaint is the big hair I spotted. Always double check before photography.

I have been thinking about making a moc with a lot of similarities to your moc. I'm offering you my completely honest opinion here. This is not a bad moc by any means but there is a lot of room for improvement. Like I said I have been thinking about a similar scene. I put a lot of thought into my mocs, usually. The different bricks around the arches are too much of a change from the actual arches. That's what I have been stressing over for my moc. I think if you used more standard 1x2 around the top of the arches you would get a much smoother transition in texture and show the age of the ruin better when placing the detailed bricks. Those arches are not the easiest piece to work into a ruin. The ground texture is a bit off with the 1x1 rounds. The pallisade bricks don't match well with "brick" bricks right next to each other. I'm glad you posted this because it really helped my thought process. Your going in the right direction with your building. I have a feeling your going to be an awesome builder if you stick with it.

Jade Haar Sneydehr, the best barber of Historica!
I personally think you have improved a lot since this project started. Everyone's builds are getting harder to criticize and pointing out flaws is definitely hard to do nowadays. I did notice an eye lash/hair in your moc. Always double check your moc before photography! That's my only complaint. Keep'em coming.

Review: 70400 Forest Ambush
Great pictures! I wonder if the torsos could be usable with different arm colors? Maybe fleshie heads would work better? Maybe it's the yellow heads that are making these figures look bad?

Is it just me or dose the box show the lion knight having a silver visor?
