Yes it is, along with the new pieces 6x6 trans-yellow dish (21599), the black wheels (42610) and the red Tile, Modified 2 x 3 Pentagonal (22385). Although i have mixed feelings about stickers, i second you about rare canopy pieces and stickers.

I never was a fan of the A, but i like this. Ok, it's not 100% perfect, but somehow...i just like it.

I like it a lot, the details are fantastic. What's that on the 2nd floor? Sleeping cells? If yes, do LEGO Clone Troopers dream of cloned LEGO sheep?

Yes, the TIE Pilot is the best. And it has some interesting parts. The dishes look fab!

The Trooper is a no-no. Boba is MUCH better, but still too studdy. If they had used more slopes, that sand green would make it ROCKET off the shelves.

I like it a lot, the greebling and the details are fantastic.

The urge to cash in? Yes. Desperation? No. Listening to the market and showing you're going to react? Yes. They could have announced an released these sets the normal way. But that would have provoked months and months of nagging. It's a win-win.
