how easy is it to remove lego printing? I've acquired a few of the "Will Scotian" helmet from the UCS Snowspeeder and I'd like to remove the grey stripe so that i'm left with only the red firebirds as I think it'd match the generic blue ones better that way.

Aren't the three on the right (at least the two most-right on the back row) technically gold squadron and not red squadron? Front Row - Red Leader, Red 3, Red 5, Red 10, Red 12, Gold 2 Back Row - Red 2, Red 4, Red 6, Red 11, Gold Leader, Gold 5? Red 7 and Red 10 share the same helmet (I'd recommend getting the new "cocky moustache" face for harb binli). Red 9 is very similar to the T16 skyhopper helmet (perhaps it should be white not grey, but the decals are identical) which I presume you have as you've got the face there between Red 10/Red 12. Red 8 Zal Dinnes... you need to ask for that one to be made next :D I'd buy all three (Red Leader, Gold 5 and that).

I notice there's a jaina solo custom minifig, complete with custom helmet printing, so I don't know if this is a sign of things to come (in which case I should hold off ordering the new pilot heads) or if it's just a one off thing for you that they used to test the process? i'm also excited to see it. The lack of Red Leader and Red 8 helmets is sad.

I thought it was more, changing the actor because the non-human species wasn't working and him being unable to come back for the reshoots.

gives credence to the theory a couple of pages back that this is it for "Solo" sets in my opinion.

they look pretty big still in the official images - there's been a leak of a character from fantastic beasts and guess what - he's got a chin strap printed on one side of his face (like luke and biggs should have had!). if his 'tache had been black not brown I think it'd have been a day one update (assuming both sets release on the same day).

I'm afraid that's probably a mistake by the photographer... no printed chin straps, figure comes with the head 3626cpb1414 Photographer was probably testing how good it looks with heads with visor printing on and forgot to take it off again. Probably. Sorry :(

I've repurposed mine as Harb Binli (Rogue One) in the meantime with a blue helmet. If we're making requests, some more diversity in the white female pilots lineup would be lovely :D I'm currently rocking a male Evan Verlaine and a male Wona Goban and the head from sw882 isn't too easy to come by yet.

Not sure if this will see me ostracised or not but... I'm in China and a friend of mine just handed me Luke and Biggs today. The visor sits perfectly over the printed visors of previous heads, meaning if straps are important then there are 7 or 8 face options (2 different luke skywalkers with visor down, 2 faces on each of the x wing and snowspeeder heads, the 2 female heads on the sandspeeder pilot). Unfortunately the opening at the front of the helmet is a tiny bit wider than the last, so firestartoys custom ones don't reach the sides and look a little off :( can't use my firestartoys biggs face with the new helmet. they matched the width of the old helmets rather than the straps on the official pieces.

not quite! plain black legs. but otherwise, I agree it's a clever recycling of the parts. I wonder how accurate it'll end up being on screen.
