Over the next year or two I have a plan to vastly increase my TIE count with primarily a lot of regular TIEs coming from the new Solo TIE set. I feel that more or less the studded plates looks good for the solar panels. I also think your cleaned up smooth panels look really good. How much of an undertaking do you think it would be for me to use that new set as a base parts box to get the pilots and hatches and such but convert over to your designs? I would be looking at 12-18 TIW/LNs, 4-8 TIE Interceptors, 2+ TIE Bombers, and 2-10 other assorted TIEs. I am considering this would also leave me with a lot of spare black plates which is very helpful for the hangars I'm working on and that most of the additional parts I would need would be basic type parts I can source easily and cheaply but am I wrong?
  2. Sorry if this has been covered recently but I'm wondering if anyone would know how much longer I would have to try and get this set. According to the Canadian Lego site it is temporarily out of stock so I think they ought to mean they will be fulfilling more orders but I'm in a bad spot for this set now. Having looked at a lot of the past Millenium Falcon Sets I noticed things like gaps between plates that bothered me a bit at first and over time made it obvious those sets were not for me. For whatever reason (Probably the size/price/limited nature.) I didn't really give this set a good looking over. Thing is the other day I went to my local-ish Lego store for the first time and they had an assembled one in a display case and.... Well it looks amazing and it so big and scaled so well. So now I -really- want one. Enough that the $1000(With tax) price tag doesn't bother me. At the same time I don't have a spare $1000 right now.
  3. Would you consider making instructions or doing some in progress builds of this?
  4. This sort of scale/level of detail on the sort of ship people can live on in Star Wars is a thing I have been thinking on for Lego MOCs for several years now since it is an obvious sort of fantasy of many scifi fans to have their own ship to explore the galaxy with. I totally understand why Lego doesn't make one though since the parts count alone would be huge and it wouldn't be a big enough market for them to take advantage of. That being soid the Ghost is not exactly the size/ship I have been wanting but your MOC is just so well done I am strongly considering building one of my own. I have three questions though: First how much does the entire thing weigh? Second I want to recolor it so as to not make the Ghost but a different VCX-100. Would this be problematic with any rarer pieces or generally raise the cost if I big basic colors such as dark grey and green? And third would it be a huge rebuild to extend the bottom cargo hull back 2-3 times as far to add cargo space and defeat the landing gear balance issue?
  5. CM please. I have been working on a design for an Imperial Hangar and I want to get the size right to be able to fit all the important Imperial ships.
  6. Could I get some measurements of you Shuttle? It looks pretty much spot on.
