21348 Lego Ideas Dungeons & Dragons and D&D CMF
I went to my local LEGO store on release day and got a full set - teamed up with two other nerds and just bought a full case's worth together, then swapped with each other outside the store until we each had a full set. I would love to see a second series! Along with a Monk, I would hope that it includes another Fighter, Wizard, Cleric, and Rogue, to make all the core classes more accessible. Make one of them an Aasimar and one a Goliath (and maybe even one of those truly fantastical creatures, Humans!) and you can have all the species options from the newest Player's Handbook covered. For specific named characters, I suspect they might pull from the 80's cartoon series, maybe Honor Among Thieves, and probably Drizzt - though my personal top picks would be Asteria and Fizban the Fabulous.

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
None of the colors feel like must-haves for me - which is fortunate, because I wouldn't want the whole set anyway - but gold would be nice as a statue if I can also piece together a gold knight and pirate. Honestly I assumed they were saving gold for a 2028 anniversary series, but perhaps I'm thinking too long-term there.

LEGO Art - Rumours and Discussion
I'm very intrigued by the Milky Way set - I could see that one getting the Space banner seen on various other themes this year. It's probably going to be quite large too, judging by the price and piece count. I would especially love if it includes a lot of glow-in-the-dark and/or opalescent pieces!

2025 Space sets
Coming in May: LEGO Art set 31212 The Milky Way Galaxy, 3091 pieces. I wonder if this one will get the Space banner on the box?

Real-person minifigs?
This minifigure appeared in an officially-licensed Steven Spielberg movie maker set and clearly resembles him, but... is it ever actually labelled as such? As far as I can tell, all official packaging and marketing materials only ever label this minifigure as "Director." OK, yes, I'm splitting hairs here, but my own personal list of real-person minifigs does not include this one.

Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
Midi-scale helicarrier could be very interesting! I had the original and eventually sold it because it just took up too much space, but I could see this being a worthwhile replacement. I'll probably want the Iron Legion pack as an add-on for Avengers Tower, and maaaybe the AoU final battle if it's really something special (though I'll probably just Bricklink Quicksilver).

2025 Space sets
It occurred to me that a good role for another color of astronauts could be "ambassadors" who would specialize in communicating with aliens. I suppose that could fall under the science or exploration fields but it feels like it would be its own thing.

Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
Evil Uncle Ben lived and told Peter Parker "With great power you can do whatever you want." Evil Deadpool runs a construction company that builds fourth walls. Evil Punisher's logo is frequently seen as a bumper sticker on sensibly-priced, fuel-efficient compact cars driven by emotionally mature men who are secure in their masculinity.

Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
They technically haven't really done Hot Rod since the set "Blazer" appears in was not MCU-based, so that would still be one of my top picks, along with Disco. Peacemaker and Piston suits would also be cool just for some different colors... now I'm imagining an "Every Iron Man is Awesome" rainbow setup!

Dream Lego Licensed Themes
Although it's unlikely since they tend to stick with established properties, IF might be an interesting wild-card possibility. And yeah, the codenames usually have nothing to do with the actual content of the theme, but if you want to take "Orange" literally, there's always Garfield. Actually, come to think of it, has anyone compiled a list of the preliminary codenames of themes paired with what they ended up being? IIRC correctly, Sonic the Hedgehog was "Lemon" and Hidden Side was "Banana," so maybe someone just likes fruit.

2025 Space sets
Glad to hear that! I am planning on getting that one anyway, but having your seal of approval means it's truly something special. I saw the 4+ set at Target today and did consider it for a bit; passing on it for now but might circle back to it if there isn't much of interest later in the year.

2025 Space sets
I have some ideas for color swaps I'd like to make, but the options are mostly limited by availability of windscreen colors. The only other color for the windscreen on the Interstellar Spaceship is transparent yellow, so a Classic Space or Blacktron I recolor should be pretty easy for that one. (Or a whole new faction of your own design!) I'd personally prefer purple, which has been made for the shorter, more rounded cockpit, but only in a couple Ninjago sets from over a decade ago. And I don't know what kind of aesthetic you would go for, but I personally think you could make them more fantastical/vibrant just by changing the black and sand blue but leaving the white as is. Maybe color-coding the vehicles to match the spacesuits, à la Galaxy Squad?

2024 Friends sets
I do not have room for the mansion but it really is gorgeous - looks inspired by John Lautner and other architects of that era/region. With some interior modifications I could totally see it as a Systar System space base!

LEGO Ideas Discussion
Absolutely agreed! Every time an unexpected project like this passes, so many people seem to forget that one of the explicitly stated goals of the Ideas program is to create new fans. I've never read the books or watched the movies, but some of my friends are fans and I'm happy that they're happy. Welcome to the Three Minifigure Club, Robert Pattinson! I also did not expect the Botanical Garden because of the Friends one, but I suppose that will be retired by the time this one comes out. I've had 41757 on my wishlist for a while, but now I'm glad I held off because this gives a similar vibe but with room for way more detail. I'm especially intrigued because the submission appears to follow the modular format, so if that aspect is retained it would be the first Ideas modular!

LEGO Ideas Discussion
I have given up on trying to guess what will pass since I am so often surprised, but my personal preferences would be the coffee shop, The Scream, Lover House, and Elf, maybe Parks & Rec. I might want the Dr. Seuss one if it could be done in a way that actually folds everything up into the books.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
I just don't see Fortnite working as a Minifigures series. If there is ever a video game licensed series, I would expect something like a general Nintendo theme covering multiple games (though that might entail complicated licensing issues). I think the most likely candidates for the next licensed series would be a third Harry Potter or second DC series, but I would prefer to be surprised by something completely new.

2025 Space sets
Definitions and categories will vary from person to person - some people define "Classic Space" so rigidly that only the sets with the blue/grey/transparent yellow color scheme "count"! Personally, I think of Futuron as an extension of Classic Space - in Star Trek terms, it's basically "Classic Space: The Next Generation." In this headcanon, every theme that uses some variation of the planet logo is tied together as one "franchise," even if only a specific range of sets falls under the "Original Series" category.

71046 CMF series 26: Space themed!
This series is pretty wild! I admit I'm disappointed that it doesn't include a new Classic Space color; I really thought that would be a given. I was also hoping for a Seatron figure, but that was always going to be a long shot. My favorite is probably the pink and purple retro space figure, the tourist alien is really fun too, and I'd like to try using the body of the UFO costume figure to make a Singularity figure for Marvel!

2025 Space sets
I'm pretty sure I want to go for 60430 Interstellar Spaceship, especially now that I know it's only $19.99 (I was expecting $29.99)! Other than that I want to hold off and see what the rest of the year brings before I commit too much of my budget to the first wave. I'm very intrigued by whatever the rumored black spaceship turns out to be.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Actually yes, they are literally called Abraham Lincoln and William Shakespeare.

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
It may, in part, have to do with the Artemis program. While there doesn't seem to be any direct tie-in so far, it could just be that LEGO is anticipating increased public interest in space travel. That's just speculation on my part, though - perhaps the best answer to "why now?" is "why not now?"

LEGO Ideas Discussion
Are you talking about revealing the final design of an already-approved set, or announcing the winner of the first 2023 batch currently in review? If the latter, I assume it's just due to the sheer quantity of projects - 71 are in that batch, easily a new record.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
My initial speculation was that the "Space" series was a codename for something licensed, but I take that back now that I see how many different themes are sharing a space subtheme. Assuming the series includes a Classic Space recolor, what color does everyone think it might be? I'm tempted to say gold, but I wonder if they might be saving that for 2028, so my next guess is 107 Bright Bluish Green. What others would you like to see?
