I weirdly just read that part of HispaBrick and then immediately saw this. I've only ever created gearboxes from instruction, one day I'll give it a go creating my own.

tompato replied to Jurss's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI think it'll be a pretty sweet set (as long as it has no gearbox issues like the Porsche) but the price might be a bit too inhibitive for me. I kinda wish it had been done with fewer pieces considering the licensing is likely going to add a fair chunk to the cost. I have no doubt it'll be a cool model though, I look forward to the full reveal.

I was considering this set, but I think maybe I'll just save up for the EV3 instead, even if it is a bit old at this point. I just don't like having to program it via an app like that. I'm sure it's great for it's target audience though!

I've long been lurking the Technic forum on Eurobricks and I figured it was about time I start participating! My name is Tom, I'm from the UK and I've recently got into Lego Technic, although I've played with Lego generally on and off throughout my life so far. By day I'm a web developer and my interests/hobbies consist of various sports, electronics/robotics, astronomy and videogames. I hope to get into building some Technic MOC's, and possibly some GBC's but I am not at that level yet! Happy building! :)
