  1. Such a wonderful work is really exciting. I wonder if you will release the instruction manual this year?
  2. key5277 started following Didumos69
  3. Hi @lego_tactics It's simple to just light the taillight. It only needs a transparent hose of 4MM diameter and a red LED light at each end of the hose. I use red and yellow LED light source, only need a transparent hose to achieve the effect of yellow steering lights and red brake lights, which can be purchased in real car decoration stores. Thank you for liking it.
  4. Hi MattVanSaber This color needs to be changed in many small places, replaced by the only dark azure parts. As for the hose soft axle 12 you mentioned, I can only use scissors to cut it in the front part of the car. The other parts do not destroy the other parts any more.
  5. Hi I replaced the switching part in the middle of the door with 48496 to change the rotation direction of the driving shaft of the two doors, so that the two doors can switch at the same time. But this is not perfect, because this structure reduces the gear ratio. If the motor does not have enough power to open the door, I will modify the structure and increase the gear ratio. The design of @brunojj1 makes full use of it. There is room for no more motors, or you can abandon the chassis lifting function to achieve independent control of the left and right doors, or you can use the two L motors under the false engine to drive the chassis lifting. As for the W 16 engine you mentioned, it must be modified. I believe that nothing is impossible. https://bricksafe.com/files/key5277/mclaren-p1/rc-version/20190405093707.jpg video show Thank you. Other colours are just as beautiful.
  6. Hi Brunojj1 My Dark Azure RC version has finally been completed, and some minor modifications have been made. The gull wing door has become the mode of simultaneous switch on both sides. The biggest change is the lamp part. The headlamp part is composed of three sets of LED lights and two sets of turning lights, while the taillight part is composed of two independent red and yellow double-color LED lights and light guide tubes. Electricity is supplied by two BUWIZZ. When the servo motor works, the front steering light and the taillight will flash like a real car. Here I show some pictures. I hope you like them.
  7. Hi I'm glad to see these pictures of you, because I'm doing the same thing, but I haven't installed them on the car yet. I'll show them when I finish. @WjLiv
  8. Searching for "EL cold light" on eBay is believed to be fruitful. The result of my search is that these products are basically from China and I don't know if they are sold locally. It should also be noted that the shape of the lamp, about 3mm in diameter, requires the purchase of lights and drivers to work, the minimum operating voltage is 3V, low voltage working brightness will be reduced, so the replacement of power interface can be directly connected to the battery box. I'll buy some and do some tests, hoping to succeed. @brunojj1 At the same time, thank you for your efforts and persistence, although the RC version of the instructions have not been completed, you do not need to apologize, we all know that you did not give up, thank you again, and wish you a Merry Christmas.

  10. This kind of cold light is mainly used in electro-optic dance costumes. It can be cut into any length, a variety of colors to choose from. It needs 12V voltage and special drive to work. I hope this help.
  11. Thank you for creating such a wonderful work, both in appearance and function, which is so perfect, really like this MOC. Since I like blue very much, I built this McLaren P1 with Bugatti's dark azure, but the dark azure parts are not enough, so I modified some of the structures, including the front fender and the rear hood. It also includes some minor adjustments, I hope you have some suggestions for my changes, and also look forward to the RC version. Since I can only publish pictures of 0.1Mb, You may not be able to see clearly, please forgive me.
