Pedrin Gaul had the same helmet as luke. He was Red Five and died at Scarif.

I think I still prefer the old-style helmets, but I haven't seen the new ones in the flesh yet.

So now that the new Advent Calender is hitting retail, I managed to grab a Merrick Fig. Helmet is quite nice, but he's begging for the Firestar arms and probably the FS Merrick head too. I need to pick up an extra Helmet for Evaan Verlaine too.

I don;t have that Cassian fig but I think you're on to a winner there. I have the FS arms on a couple of blue pilots and the look great, especially with Dark Tan hands. I reckon they'd look awesome on him,

Here are all my pilots so far (excluding Blue Squadron) Yavin Reds. Wenton Chan still in there as Red Eleven despite not being canon. Hoth Rogues. Luke, Dak, Zev, Kit, Wedge, Wes, Hobbie and Kesin, And finally my Gold Squadron pilots, Dutch, Dex, Wona Goban, Datchi Creel, and Pops Krail.

I'm resisting the urge to put patterned sleeves on the figs outside of the blue firestar ones. Do you mean the helmet with the black shadowing thta came in the snowspeeder microfighter? If so, that's Dex Tiree's helmet.

Frustrating isn’t it! If that’s his only canon appearance and legends doesn’t ever put Scotian in Zevs gunner position then poor Lego Scotian doesn’t get a place in my Rogues. I’m using him as Kit! Firestar helmets just arrived in the mail too! They look amazing in hand!

I’m sure the Will Scotian helmet should be Kit Valent. The scotian gig was announced as Valent at SW celebration ‘17 but Lego changed his name for the release.

Yeah I just spotted them. Bought one of each Zal/Pops/Garvin. Photos don;t make the print look very pretty but I'll reserve judgement until I have them in hand

Wedge is one of my favourite characters so I'm foregoing accuracy just for him. I actually think the older (Grey) Wedge helmet looks way better than the more screen-accurate green one, so I'm just putting the grey one on my Red and Rogue Wedge figs and any fig who has anything close can have the naff green one or something else.

That’s about normal for the blue and u-wing at the minute. Hopefully not everyone jumps on our fun little wagon and supplies start to dwindle.

Probably Dak Ralter. You can get him for about £4, at least you could a few months ago when I was building my hoth Rogue Squadron.

They look amazing Rob! Will you switch out Wenton Chan for Surrel at some point to 'keep it canon'? I'm not sure I will since Surrel and Naeco would be wearing the same helmet.

Argh I see it now. That means Reds Eleven and Twelve will be plonked next to each other with the same helmet. I don't like that!

I'll be using the Poe Dameron head for Heff Tobber. The stubbled beard looks like it will work well.

Here you go. Not the best lighting, sorry. I've seen people saying this fig is Paril Ritta, but due to the skin colour I don't buy that. As-is, the U-wing pilot works well as Calum Gram. Regarding arm-print, personally, I feel there is too much of a colour difference between the tan torso print and the white on the arms, but dark tan hands might tie the look together a bit. That torso print is definitely more screen-accurate, but if I'm using the printed arms I reckon I'll go all out on Y-wing pilots for the characters that wear the old-style helmets, and just have a few of these figs with plain arms to mix it up a little.

I'm new on this forum. Not sure how the attachment allowance works so can't add photos for some reason, but if you eBay search Ralo Surrel you'll see a couple of images of the same actor. Both clearly holding different helmets. I've taken a photo of the U-wing pilot with the FS arms but can't upload it til I figure out Eurobricks attachment allowance :D

Want another spanner in the works? I've now seen two different pics of Red Eleven Ralo Surrell holding different helmets. One with Biggs' helmet and one with a Janson-style pattern. The rabbit hole just gets deeper.

Total can of worms. I only just realise that Zal Dinnes is the new Canon Red Eight where I was using Bren Quersey, so I guess my Reds will never be canon-complete :( I'm using the T16 helmet for Nozzo but not keen to start painting parts, so it'll have to do without the red stripe. Eagerly awaiting the Red Leader helmet on Firestar, but until then I'll probably concentrate on Blue Squadron. Those printed arms are ace!

I didn't wait for the official Merrick and Biggs heads.. Firestar Merrick and Firestar Cocky arrived this morning for Ommis and Binli respectively. They look good! Also thinking I'll go with the dark tan hands across Blue Squadron as the colour really pops against the firestar sleeves.

I don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere on this thread, but when the UCS Snowspeeder figs were announced at SW Celebration '17, the Will Scotian fig was actually named as Kit Valent, and was only changed to Scotian before the set was released with Scotian as the Gunner. As far as I can tell there is nothing in Legends or Canon placing Will Scotian in a Snowspeeder with Zev Senesca. He was Blue Three at Hoth. Based on this, I'm using the Scotian helmet as Kit Valent's, and the old Pilot Luke helmet with the single red stripe and plain red insignia for Kesin Ommis (His helmet had a wider red stripe but this'll do). I actually just realised the custom Merrick head on Firestar could work well for Ommis too!
