  1. I saw that rumor. Hopefully will be something a bit more desirable for everyone. Is odd as now 12/29 and the January Store Calendar has yet to be released.

This build would be great for a car drive thru window of the ice cream shop also. Nice design
  3. The PS and BB are not my favorites ether. Have not purchased the BB yet, but I will. Hate to admit it, but if TLG offers a modular building I most likely going to buy it. Would be cool if TLG would design the releases so one could make a more common city block over a 4 year cycle. Example say for the next 4 years all sets more modern European theme. This could be one city block. Next 4 years things switch to US design in the 40's, and so on.
  4. I like Joe's Delivery truck the best!
  5. I hope TLG offers more bricks in the "Flesh" color as in the new Modular
  6. I like it!
  7. I read 3d printed bricks cannot maintain their clutch.
  8. Would be nice getting access to retired sets without paying resellers markups.
  9. Nice moc, can't wait to see it when its built.

Agree seams a little over priced.
  11. Good rebuild. As a subway would be nice if you added lights to the front.
  12. I like it, very unusual. Hope it gets selected.

One thought, if you do convert to 100% 9 volt. You could run one train with a 9 V motor on the metal tracks. A second train could be run on PU, that way you could control one or both so they don't hit each other. Another option is adding a senor on the PU train. If properly placed could automatically stop the PU train if it senses the 9 V one. Automating my trains is more fun then I thought. Fairly easy to have a train run forward thru a switch, then reverse its direction and have it go the alternate direction of said switch. I use this control strategy to back a train into a siding. Your layout is too large not to have multiple trains running what ever you decide.

You have a lot of space which is awesome. Will be interesting to see your layout develop. One question, you stated wanting to convert to 100% 9 V. I am in the process of converting to PU and using the Lego App for automation. Are you planning on running multiple trains on your layout at the same time? Believe this could be done with a 9 V system, but as the track is always has powered all trains would have to run at the same speed and direction. What are you plans?
  15. From the Alternate build article. Wow!!! Could you imagine if we got this version. “Specifically, that patio [above the art gallery] is there to make sure that we don’t hide the billboard on the Police Station. At one point the building was mirrored the other way over the angle, and that was completely hiding this beautiful detail that people who bought this building probably want to show off.”

Looks good. If you have plans on expanding suggest adding the outdoor play area. Recall a lot of times the show was on the playground.

Looks like you have a lot of room to continue your collection. Nice city layout.
  18. I hear you. i was the same way. What got me thinking recently is I have several of the Modular Buildings and they have sat as designed for years. Would like to change these up a bit, unfortunately don't have the number of spare bricks on hand to moc. Due to costs, would prefer to figure out my new design and secure any pieced I need vs purchasing a bunch of bricks.
  19. Agree, think a few corners (pardon the pun) were taken on the design of the Corner Garage.
  20. Sounds like it is still supported them. Don't recall where I read it was not. Thank you
  21. I will check this one out. Just want to play around with the software to see what it can do. Is LDD still supported by TLG? Thought I heard it was no longer.
