There were lots of super cars after 8880.
But from my standpoint this jeep feels like the best successor of the 8880 in terms of a balance between design, scale and functions.
Thank you for the important information!
Now I don't understand, why it's going to cost significantly cheaper, than Bugatti, considering the same number of parts, the same (or better) functions and the license feature!
I had made dozens of experimental sliding outriggers until found a perfect solution. My target was to make it as compact as possible, robust and with zero backlash.
Surprisingly even official Lego mechanics didn't satisfy me on this way! I literally had to invent something new and properly working!
I don't believe the extended tracks are robust enough to support the heavy superstructure.
The only way to build a proper sliding mechanism is to use old Technic bricks.
How do you make the tilted pillars of the cabin?
I don't see them fit any of existing Lego technic triangles!
And what prevents the roof from shifting?
Wow! I have seen your tiger on YouTube and YES, it's great!
Normally I don't pay attention on buggies, because it's not my favourite genre, but something made me watch your video and I was pleasantly surprised how you improved a basic (at the first glance) model!
