Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
100% impossible. Not only because of the weight, adding articulations to the legs implies rebuilding them completely (including the lower part of the torso) with a lot of pieces not included in the set.

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
I got the set today (but I haven't even opened the box yet). I will try to do it, but I'm not planning to mod the legs or the arms yet. Especially when I saw that it's possible to move the shoulderpads. I can't understand why they decided to show the shoulderpads up in the box and in every promo pic, it looks better with the shoulder pads down (not great, but not that bad). I think both detailing and thinner legs are because of the need to fit the full Iron Man. Even the legs wouldn't look so thinner if the crotch wasn't so big. IMO, the 40334 version looks way better than the Hulkbuster one. The Hulkbuster one looks just like a Mk 43 print on a grey torso instead of an actual new design like the 40334. It doesn't look so unique like the 40334 Tony Stark. But I don't see the point of releasing the Hulkbuster with this minifigure. By the time Tony Stark appears like this, the Hulkbuster is long gone. Well, I just don't see the point of releasing a minifigure with this set. The other Hulkbuster was more like a "celebration of Tony Stark" with a lot of stuff from different movies in different scales, so it made sense to include a minifigure. But this is just a big sculpture of the Hulkbuster. I don't think these sets need minifigures to be appealing.

Nope. Iron Man knee's would be were the Hulkbuster hips are. So the moment the Hulkbuster starts walking goodbye to the knees.

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
This. It's sad because every building technique and small detail is there. I readjusted the torso with photoshop and it could have been a really good Hulkbuster model (I didn't change the size of any piece, so technically it should be possible to rebuild it like this). The torso is smaller and probably the Iron Man wouldn't fit inside (it would do removing the legs, like the Hot Toys Hulkbuster iirc):

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
It's amazing how hard to see is D2C stuff in minifig scale. At this point I'm expecting the LotR D2C set to be just a big ring.

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
I wonder if the set is about Thanos Wins, so no Johnny, Robbie or Danny. That comic was incredible popular a couple of years ago, even people who weren't into comics knew about it (even it was referenced in Endgame!), and there has been a few toys about the space-bike and the Cosmic Ghost Rider. This plus a new Thanos mech.

I remember reading rumours here on eurobricks about the 76215 being exactly this, a Black Panther bust, am I right? And piece count too.

Every Spiderman suit is different. The Spidey from the D23 poster has the TASM2 spider logo on the chest.

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
But the UCS Slave I was a 180€ set, maybe 250€ in 2022. This is a 500€$ set.

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
No, I meant the same scale as the Batmobiles but you're right. I didn't notice how big the RTF is Then I take it back, something like the same lenght as the 1989 Batmobile. It would not be in minifig scale tho, it would be similar to the new Hogwarts Express in scale. I can't imagine how they could have made a 500€$ of that ship. The Royal Talon at least is bulkier.

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
Considering the 500€$ price, I think it's safe it would be in the same scale as the Burton Batmobile and the Tumble (which surprisingly, they are pretty much in the same scale too, the Tumbler is so small but everybody think it's bigger). Well, there is a new movie... But yes, it doesn't make any sense. If they wanted to do a Wakandan set, they should have made the mountain instead of a vehicle that people hardly remember.

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
Why are you surprised? Literally all the leaks/rumours stated that it was a weird decision, that it was an oversized vehicle and that it was something that the fans don't want.

Rocket used an actual mech a few years ago (but Rocket didn't have a very toyetic look in these comics...).

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
The AT-AT is mostly a Technic set. Like seriously, you can remove all the grey plates attached and perfectly a 70% of the set is Technic. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that makes the set more expensive to produce. What about comparing it to 2x Sanctum? But if it's a vehicle, maybe the safest thing is to assume that it will have a big amount of Technic too. Still, a set half the size is a really really big one. I can't see how an UCS Spider-Mobile or anything like that could be so big. All of them Yeah, but except a Sanctuary 2 (and a Milano and a Benatar), there is nothing. Not a single vehicle would make sense, even in a bigger scale, to be released as a 500€ set. I even doubt people would like a 500€ Helicarrier at this moment. But these ships doesn't fit with the rumours anyway. I can't see how a big UCS set of any of these ships would be controversial or disliked by the community. Also, some of them, as a 500€, would be minifig scale (the Milano and the Benatar again).

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
I think some of you are not properly considering how massive a 500€$ set is. I think it's impossible that the set is just a regular vehicle (Spider-Mobile or any spaceship). By the way, something that fits in the description and that I think I haven't seen posted here, what about an Iron Man statue? It definetely counts as a vehicle I and consdering how popular the Iron Man Hot Toys figures are, it would make sense to release something like that, like a 1/4 scale statue. Add to that an exclusive Tony Stark/Iron Man and a ARC reactor base. EDIT: Nevermind, there are a lot of comments about the statue lol

UCS Ant-thony with an Ant-Man that works as a Giant-Man too. Oh... Now I want that.

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
This would be great, but I can't imagine how it could be 500€ set. Same. If it comes with minifigures, it could be a Leviathan over a diorama of the bridge scene with the six og Avengers, but I don't see how that could not be received well. Neither a Milano or a Sanctuary II (weird choice for a 500€ set, but still, it's an iconic ship in the MCU). Anything else it would be just what you said: “oh yeah I guess that was in the MCU”. I think the Dragon Flyer/Royal Talon rumor is more possible than ever.

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
I say the X-Mansion, if not the Helicarrier. And if it isn't the Helicarrier neither, maybe a Stark tower as a display set with the Grand Central Station (in mini-scale) and the Park Avenue viaduct to place the minifigures. I don't know, I see it kind of obvious, because of the Wolverine mech. I think it's very weird that they did a new Wolverine minifig after so many years just for a very small set. And I don't see the Helicarrier being so iconic to have a 500€ set in 2022. It made sense back then, but the last time it appeared was in Age of Ultron and it was just a cameo. I can see Asgard being very possible, but they already did the Mjolnir. I agree. The Avengers Mansion is kind of niche (but it would be cool to have minifigs of the 60's Avengers tho). Even if they do a comic book version they still can do the Avengers tower from the comics. It isn't too different from the MCU and they can include a lot of comic book characters (like Wolverine). There is aleady a X-Men set this year I think the X Mansion has a better chance than the Baxter Building, by far. Does Disney has anything to say about the sets that LEGO can release? The Daily Bugle was very comic-inspired, and it even includes characters that Disney doesn't want to use at this moment (the Punisher). Also, Hasbro has been releasing a lot of X-Men toys in the last few years, including the Haslab Sentinel (which is something like an UCS set for Hasbro).

Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
If they do a D2C set it would be something like the Hogwarts icons set, with the hat, the golden idol from Raiders, the whip?, the journal from the Last Crusade and maybe the Crystal Skull. I can't see Lego doing an Indiana Jones play-set as a D2C set (even at this point I can't believe we're going to get a new Indiana Jones wave).

Have you seen this piece? I think we will see it used in a new Falcon, either 4+ or a regular set scaled down like the Slave 1. https://brickset.com/parts/design-92832 https://brickset.com/parts/design-92847
