  1. I'm still convinced that this year we will see the Jeep Wrangler. They have the Jeep license (the Technic set) and Mattel is going to release a set with the Jeep, Nedry and the dilo.
  2. Kathleen Kennedy was a producer and executive producer in Jurassic Park, Lost World, and JPIII.
  3. It was based on a Wrangler but it wasn't a Wrangler, the front was very different. The original design of the set was posted few pages ago, and you can see how it was clser to a Jeeo Wrangler than the final set: No problem. It's this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqVwBmEYZJs
  4. And there will be a Technic Jeep Wrangler. Looks like they got the Jeep license, maybe this year is the year.
  5. Thank you! Now I'm considering to mod the 2015 and bricklink it :D I really hope Lego someday manages to get the license for these cars.
  6. Does a photo of that exist? Now I really want to see it!
  7. hachiroku posted a post in a topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hi, I recently noticed that the new cillinder piece from the Minions set has a very close diameter to the graflex piece from the lighsaber, so I built one using this piece as a reference. I'm really happy with the result, I hope you enjoy it. I will try to built the blade too. I have an idea that I think it could work but I don't expect it to be very steady tbqh. Video building it:
  8. This piece in transparent would be perfect as the windscreen of an UCS Naboo fighter, A-Wing or a B-Wing.
  9. And here's a video building it, and showing it from different point of views, etc. The cloth is from the constraction Obi Wan, so it's 100% Lego (for the photo, I changed digitally the colour of the two round 2x2 tiles with hole, from dark tan to sand green, but it looks good enough).
  10. Thank you for sharing it here! I post my mocs here sometimes but I forgot to put this one. I like your mod for the extra room.
  11. Looks like OW2 is real.
  12. I'm convinced that the reboot of the sequels universe/trilogy is inevitable. We will have eventually a "true Episode VII" with a younger Luke, Leia and Han, and see the new Republic, the Jedi academy, new enemies... I wouldn't worry about Lego and IX underperforming, because Disney will never stop trying until Star Wars becomes as successful as the MCU.
  13. The problem is that minifigs doesn't have human proportions/scale. For example, Jack Stone minifigures are regular minifigures but closer to the human body shape, and their heads/hands have the same size of a classic minifigure. The minifigs head and hands are clearly made for an 8 studs wide car (or 4 for a single seater), but the body is way shorter. You can have a car in scale with the heigh, or you can have a car in scale with the heads/hands (and width) of the minifigure. When you put a minifigure inside, the only thing you're going to see is the head and the hands so I think that's a good point to prefer the 8 studs cars.
  14. About the 1), this box reminds me to the Spiderman subtheme. Maybe this is another subtheme only focused on Avengers movies/comics. Considering they are using their regular costumes in the box art, I think it's ok to use it.
  15. Another option is that it comes with a platform to display the car or something like that. Or an alley from Gotham.
  16. I still don't get how the UCS set is 3300 pieces. Brickvault's Batmobile is 1700 pieces and it's massive.
  17. Just imagine a small set like Hamond's, with Mei and a big Snowball. It would be really cool.
  18. Cool! I always like to see how people build my stuff! Thank you for sharing that photo (someday I will have the big Chiron, someday...). I think 6 studs is the perfect scale for minifigures, but on the other hand, 8 studs will improve the models allowing more techniques (for example, the front of the Jaguar pace car, with the inverted mudguard for the grill and the front bumper). Plus, some minifigure vehicles have been released as 8 wide cars, and even they were for the AFOL market (Delorean, ECTO-1, 1966 Batmobile), or the new Batmobile, Joker's lowrider and the rest of the vehicles from the Batman movie. I'm waiting to see the other cars, specially the GTR, but at this moment I'm glad with the decision. I think the 8 wide studs will improve the cars.
  19. I don't think it's printed. Anyway, even if it's printed, I'm sure it will come in a lot of other sets, just like the other Speed Champions windscreens. PS: They made the front lights of the pace car the same way I did the front lights of my Chiron
  20. Is the Jaguar set real? It's amazing, they finally did an 8 studs wide car, and the windscreen is 6 studs wide.
  21. Yep, they had them. Thank you.
  22. Will be the new sets avaible in Lego stores in Europe?
  23. I wonder if this means that we will get the characters from the other 3 issues. I'd really like a classic Raven minifig.
  24. Wait, are they going to release the GWP Batmobile before the UCS one? That's not good...
