  1. Have they done this before? Tease future sets on the box art of current ones?
  2. I will admit, these figs look kinda strange without the noses, but this would be the best they could do in the LEGO style. They are still recognisable, and pretty cute! If the build is as good as the submission, and the price is somewhere around $60-80NZ, I'd pick it up!
  3. Garmafan was probably counting March of the ONI as well. That would make 11 seasons if the Pilot (again, only 4 episodes) was included. With the DotD/Legacy thing, I think people prefer Legacy because it's dedicated to remaking sets rather than just putting older villains in a regular wave. Also, DotD was a mediocre TV special that existed mostly to fill a vacant slot, while the Legacy shorts are web animations commemorating the shows forthcoming hundredth episode that do not conflict with the show.
  4. Do we know for sure if this Batmobile is the same as the Tim Burton version, or just inspired by it? With the anniversary thing, it could go either way.
  5. Any info on the Hydro-Man/Molten-Man figures? Will they be using the ghost legs or something else? And what will Mysterio use for his fishbowl? One step closer to that Peter Parker fig, eh? So it's definitely a civilian. Calling it now, Mysterio uses illusions to make Fury's missing eye come back as a ghost.
  6. Intriguing. For the Endgame sets, the "Outrider Attack" sounds suspiciously similar to last wave, but bigger. Might be an error. The rest I'm good with though! The War Machine set sounds interesting, the Armor room could be a great place for exclusive armours, the Super Quinjet oughta be different from the last one, and the biggest set is so vague, but is probably gonna be a instant buy (but might need to justify that PPP). For FFH, the Hydro-man and Stark Jet sets are the most intriguing, mostly because they're likely to have villains that I've been waiting for a looong time (Mr Water and Sir Fishbowl).
  7. I'm not into these sets yet, but I'm curious about the action attack/defence sets. What even are they? I've got a feeling they're 4+ sets with those PPP ratios. Hopefully they provide decent scenery for their represented planets.
  8. These are pretty cool designs, shortcuts aside, but I really hope we get ONI in other sets. I never see minifigure packs in NZ stores.
  9. In other themes, I've seen them include all of the collectables in the largest set of that particular wave, so they could do that here. I do hope the Infinity Gauntlet comes here, as Thanos is still wearing it from what we've seen, and the mould likely looks better on the new figure.
  10. Interesting. With this new space theme, I really hope they go all-out, and the space station sounds promising. The fairground people pack sounds really cool as well. I hope they include the cotton candy piece, and maybe that new bird mould from the Jasmine castle set.
  11. This list... is too vague to really hype me up yet. At this point, it sounds pretty generic. I'll reserve my judgement for later, although I do hope that an ONI comes in a cheaper set.
  12. Neutral. Usually, it depends on the figures themselves. If it's something that can be found in real life, like a halloween costume or animal suit, than I'm fine with it. Food costumes are a mixed bag, but can work fairly well as mascots for fast food chains, and could even pass as the food itself. The worst ones for me are the most ridiculous and useless part wise, like the Flowerpot Girl. When you have to look for a place in a layout to display a figure, it suggests that something is off.
  13. Is it just me, or does the Giraffe Guy have the mid-legs from the HP series? He looks shorter than the rest.
  14. Interesting series overall. Standouts for me would be Unikitty (because it completely throws the CMF guidelines out the window and into the sea, sinking to the bottom to be torn apart by volcanic ocean vents), the Wizard of OZ figs (because they're awesome), Business Golf, Apocalypseburg Scratchenpost, Swamp Creature and Cowboy Dangervest.
  15. I'm not too sure what to think here. On one hand, there's no boots, the mould is still the same and the body may have gone too light-coloured. But on the other hand, the arms have printing, the gold printing goes all-round, the grey/blue might work better with the gold, and that ugly smirk is FINALLY gone! It is an improvement overall, but I'd need some time to get familiar.
  16. Adding to this, I saw a more specific description in the usual place. It said that the new figure will have a darker skin tone, new armor/helmet, lighter blues and more golden printing. To me, this already sounds better than IW. Aside from that frown, I didn't like how the figure was mostly a bunch of different designs thrown together, and how the body and armour contrasted too much. This sounds like a tried and true armoured variant, even if it doesn't have sleeves. Still? The IW figure had a massive frown, and that fits his character less than a calm, toothless smile. Movie Thanos is a very articulate, and has a very calm demeanour. Do you remember him watching the sun rise on a grateful universe?
  17. Small detail, but goes a loooong way. Is that the ONLY difference? Like, in the entire figure? Will we see it soon?
  18. What toe print? I saw nothing of the sort on the Age of Ultron figure on Brickset. Oh, wait. Excuse me, didn't check the individual figure images. Don't mind me. I have no Hulk figs, and this one will do ok. Smirk's an interesting change of pace. Toes would've been neat, but at least he has naked feet. Is that all he said? Until I see the figure, I shall reserve my judgement. Hopefully, these 'minor' changes will count towards something better than what IW got. If Thanos wears the armour more in the movie, maybe it'll be more accurate?
  19. Sounds like Lady Iron Dragon all over again.
  20. The suspense is KILLING me. As for the set, I'll reserve my judgement for official images, but so far, it's interesting. Probably won't buy it though, especially if the sewer babies are elsewhere.
  21. Pics of the Apocalypseburg D2C have leaked in the usual place, found on Ebay. It is indeed the fallen Statue of Liberty.
  22. Whoah. so much detail! I'll never have the budget or skill to do something even close to this. Hats off to you.
  23. There was also only 2 sets in that wave. With 3 sets, this wave would have a better chance of getting the movie's "secondary suit".
