[GBC] The Akiyuki Project (2010 - 2020)
Rob Sheldon replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI have had great fun building GBC especially Akiyuki stuff. However I have realised having a 5 year old son who wants to destroy these modules as fast as I can build them doesn't mix so I think my GBC days are over. I have quite a large collection that I am looking to sell. So my question is would it be appropriate to post here what I have for sale as it is mostly Akiyuki modules?

[GBC] The Akiyuki Project (2010 - 2020)
Rob Sheldon replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI do hope so! Im completely addicted. I have 3 projects on the go at the moment. The bucket wheel tower, The elavator module and the marble run. I would love to build Berthil's version of the marble run but im just not good enough to build without pdf instructions so im going for Akiyukis version. Unless any of the geniuses on here are on with a pdf for the ball shooter version :-)

- [GBC] The Akiyuki Project (2010 - 2020)
Rob Sheldon replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHi, thanks for the reply but I dont think this will work. Both ends of the item you recommend seem the same as the connectors on my 9v motors. I have attached a pic of the connector on my speed controller which doesnt seem compatible with these.- [GBC] The Akiyuki Project (2010 - 2020)
Rob Sheldon replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHello. I am also suffering a GBC addiction :-). Can anyone help with a small problem. I have bought a speed controller to get rid of batteries. However I assumed a 9v motor would simply plug into this but it wont. Does anyone know what part i need to get the 9v motor to work with the speed controller/transformer? Cheers Rob- [GBC] Ball Shooter Marble Run

Rob Sheldon replied to Berthil's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI have tried to message @dunes but it says I am allowed to send 0 messages per day lol. Does anyone have a copy of the file they could send me? Im itching to build this!- [GBC] The Akiyuki Project (2010 - 2020)
Rob Sheldon replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingAh brilliant!! Yup thats deffo the next project. Gonna need a bigger sideboard! Thanks very much for that!- [GBC] The Akiyuki Project (2010 - 2020)
Rob Sheldon replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHi, Firstly thank you to everyone involved in this project. Firstly, Akiyuki......wow....how that mans mind must work I just cant imagine! Incredible. And next to everyone else involved in this project, thanks so much. I have had many hours of enjoyment. And its cost me a fortune :-). So far I have built the invisible ball lift (works but drops most balls, ive watched rebrickers timing video which I have followed but its fractions out and random where it drops the balls), strain wave gearing (works perfect with a bit of added strengthening to stop it bursting apart) and at the moment im on with the ball factory. Im thinking of the next project which will be the marble run. My question is I once saw an upgrade to this that shoots the balls back up again with some wheels and gearing. Thing is I cant find it anymore after a lot of searching. Could anyone kindly point me to it? Thanks again Rob - [GBC] The Akiyuki Project (2010 - 2020)
