  1. Finally I found the time and motivation to continue the work on my Volvo FH16 6x4. Earlier I got the 2 speed transmission to work by a M motor, raise and lower the rear axle by a M motor, steering by a servo motor and drive back and forward by a L motor. The last few day I got the fifth wheel to work by a M motor and I also fitted the fake inline 6 cylinder motor. I have finally began to work on the cosmetics, beginning with the fenders. Yesterday I changed fuel tank design, I started on the cabine where the rough outline and design is done. I have also chosen that I am using the CADA battery, as it is 2.4 Ghz, have 4 channels and has a controller that I can build on. This battery box have been mounted and all the wires have been routed in a clean and controlled way, with bricks on key places to prevent the wires to go into all the gears. Now all that's missing is the doors, interiors, the front grill and some minor details. Note about the colours, they shall all be coordinated when I am done, some bricks are not the right colour. I think that the black cabine will make many of the details blend into the cabine, hence I am thinking of making it white or red. What do you think, shall I go with black, white or red cabine? Enjoy the pictures.
  2. Thanks for the help, I think it works. I have now added SSL to my site and auto redirect and for me it seems to work, can some of you verify (can you see the pictures in the first post)?
  3. I have just realized that the pictures does not work after I moved webservice some month ago. I forgot to upload the pictures to the new server when I moved. I have now uploaded the pictures, but they don't show. I have tried to edit the post but it does not show in the preview also the "insert image from URL" does not seem to work. Can any one help me with this?
  4. WOW, I am building something similar just in ~1:17... One of my biggest issues is the cool front lights. I am looking forward to the whole truck.
  5. WOW, that is impressive. Great MOC.
  6. WOW what a fantastic MOC. I really like the power outputs and the way you have used them with the winter add-on. Just to be clear I can build this with Power Functions only and NO Sbrick?
  7. That is great. Thanks for making the video.
  8. With or without I think it is awesome. Great work.
  9. Great alternative model, I know my son would love to build this. He is already complaining about the lack of a B-model from LEGO. Will you be sharing you digital build or can we be so lucky that you are making instructions?
  10. I have no idea how to describe what I want to say. WOW, amazing is just not enough. I can belive that you have fitted all that into such a small MOC. GREAT JOB. Also amazing that you have build four models this year, and the quality is amazing on all of them. Please note I still wait on the John Deere version of the tractors.
  11. WOW. That is crazy, but really impressive. I am following this MOC.
  12. That is insane... Can't wait to see the final MOC...
  13. WOW, I need to look at those two links when I have more time. Thanks.
  14. Fantasitc. I am impressed by how much you build into it. You also have some great looking trucks. Do you have more pics or videos of those, I could not find any on your Youtube channel?
  15. Love it already. How many hours do you use a week on building LEGO?
  16. WOW... No wonder that the buggy motors are hard to find/expencive... Great build. How well can the LEGO frame withstand all the beating?
  17. WOW, that looks really great. Will there be a video of it in action?
  18. This is sooo awesome. I really need to start saving for your models...
  19. WOW, that is fantastic. Impressive that you have figured it out.
  20. WOW, that is amazing. Thanks for the LDD files now I just need to get that installed and figure out how to use it.
  21. WOW, love it. How well does those RC4WD tires fit to the LEGO rims? I have looked at these https://store.rc4wd.com/MIL-SPEC-ZXL-22-Tires_p_724.html but I do npt want to order if they don't fit like normal LEGO tires.
  22. @I_Igor Thanks, I have also made a lot of tire calculations for John Deere tractors myself (I am also planing to build one or two). When I look into my calculations I have note that the 6110R-6130R series can also have 520/70 R38, making it scale 16.1. What you are referring to is the max tire size. Therefore I would still like to know what scale that was aimed for on the hole tractor. We always have to do some compromises when building in LEGO, I aim to build within +/-0.5 scale of my desired scale. Looking at my Volvo L120H it has the following overall scale 1:17 but measuring the different places it isn't perfect. Height 3380 / 200mm = 16.9Chassis width 2670 / 152mm = 17.6Wheel width 2670 / 172mm = 15.5 Wheel base 3200 / 184mm = 17.4Bucket width 3000 / 183mm = 16.4Wheel diameter 750/65 R25 = 1610 / 94.3 = 17.1 Sorry for all this scale talk I just really like this topic.
  23. Sound great, we will be looking forward to the instructions. What scale have you build it to?
