  1. Yes, do you have a datasheet? I dismantled a buggy motor to check the motor and if it could be swapped with a 12V rated motor. In the buggy it seems to be a 260 motor, but I don't find these motors with a proper datasheet where voltage, amps, rpm and torque are specified. With the 130 motors, there seems to be more documentation.
  2. What will be the maximum voltage that can drive them? 3S lipo?
  3. That's indeed a good solution. I was talking about C51043w, the buggy. It had a lot of problems: the servo got stuck in steering to the left side. L-motor broke after approx 10x driving. The bleu pins brake (probably if I should take it appart now, there would be broken pins inside), bad fit of the axles what made the steering and suspension come lose, remote started to behave weird (for example forward is forward but backwards was also forward). After complaining including pictures and movie, they send me new parts and new motors, but not the remote. So I decided I wouldn't buy CADA anymore. But I beleive you when you say the quality is improved, so maybe I should give it another chance.
  4. I'm talking about this differential. The gears have to much clearance inside in that matter they start vibrating. Due to the vibration they skip gears. As a result they start shaking more until they get lose from the axle. But my situation is not a reference as I use a lifepo4 battery with the 2.4rcbrick (-> https://vk.com/24rcbrick ) which can provide a lot of amp's to the motors. Aside from this, the lego differential doesn't has this problem. About the cardan piece, it's on my to buy list as I have already broken a few original cardan pieces on my crawler.
  5. Indeed, I already saw fixes where they use thin spacers between the back of the gears and the housing so the teeth have a bigger contact area.
  6. In my humble experience, I have bad experience with the cada differential, the gears have to much clearance with result they skip teeth under power. Although I have also another brand less differential where the gears are just a little bigger then those of TLG and these can handle the power of a buggy motor powered by 11V. But in general for these critical parts I prefer lego,
  7. Is it possible to start a new topic to have this discussion, it's also not according forum rules its a off-topic topic: -> Posting, spam and off topic topics: Off topic posts can be great fun between friends, but they do run the risk of making a topic unreadable to other members. We ask you to try to stick to the thread topic.
  8. This car looks awesome, it's the CADA C61042 set. The motors are completely new, not a 1 to 1 lego copy. I hope the servo is a real servo, especially because you can't buy the lego PF servo motor anymore on the lego site. Motor set: S059-003 I also hope the motors are better then their former pf-motors, because they are really weak compared to the lego ones, and they don't live long. I replaced them with 2 lego L-motors (there is room for 2) and a lego servo in my cada buggy, together with a lot of other lego bricks because the cada ones break easily , for example the differential and steering parts. Maybe I should mention I don't use the cada battery but I use the 2.4rcbrick, so a lot more power goiing to these motors.
  9. It's a L9110H motor driver chip, 2.5V to 12V, 800mA.
  10. Hello, does somebody has more info about the maximum voltage and the maximum current the PF-to-Arduino from 4dbrix can handle? Or better, does somebody know which motordriver it is?
  11. I thought the black/orange one was different then the grey/orange one. I ordered the black ones, I will check if I can find the grey ones to compare them. I don't think I they use the 10.4V battery box for these motors. I only wanted to share they have a 10.4V battery box. This is the QR-code for the app (should support analogue control): If they now only should release a API, so other people can make apps for it or the possibility to control it with arduino or python.
  12. In this case Mould King has also these "Black Furious Hyper speed motor" . and a Black 10.4V control brick controlled only by app
  13. I meant a complete kit with a new pcb with analogue control and bluetooth.
  14. I'm planning to buy a buwizz to. I always found it a pitty you have to control it with your mobile phone. I hoped sometimes there would come a kit to rebuild a original lego remote to bleutooth.
  15. Hello, I had to change the motordrivers. I didn't found the mx1616l but I did find the mx1616. I replaced it and it worked, but I think I messed up my soldering because not all functions worked. So I tried resoldering everything but I probably burnt something as my remote wouldn't connect with the box anymore. So if you are good in soldering small stuff, it's worth trying. Shame the CADA box is such a bad quality. I had 2 of them and both are already dead. You should expect more from a company that makes mostly RC stuff. There is now another brand with a similar looking box like CADA, search for MOFUN on banggood. It"s a Toyota Trueno, it has also a small motor to move the lights. Maybe it's better then the Cada.
  16. @ozacek Thanks for the tip to switch directions, there wasn't a manual with the set that I bought. So this is nice to know @kbalage I measured the output voltage of the mould king box and it was 8.2V. My battery wasn't freshly charged so it's possibel it's 9V. I can open my box and check the batteries. But according me it's a 2S-lipo (you can see them through the holes) and maybe bumped up to 9V. I didn't manage to download the app, as google play says my device is not compatible. So if anyone can download it and share it with me, it's this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.qunyu.yuxing&hl=nl
  17. Yes, I bought this one. 2 observations yet: I can't install the android app. All android smartphones I tried it says "not suitable for this device". According me nobody can because downloads and reviews on the play store are 0. Second problem: with the remote frontwards is backwards and backwards is frontwards, so the buttons are switched. There isn't a button on the remote to change the direction. Maybe you can do it with the app... It doesn't seem to have a lot of power also. If the app should working or there should be a API of the bluetooth protocol they use it would maybe be a better deal.
  18. @fosamax I never managed to pair 2 batteries to 1 controller with the cada setup. I recently broke a batterybox so I can't try, I still have to replace the MX1616L motor driver and check if it works again. About the CADA buggy: steering is junk, even after replacing the servo with a lego servo motor. Just to much clearance on the whole steering/suspension. Also the differential I had to replace with the lego one. I also discovered the cada motors have less power then the lego ones. With the buggy I had also the problem the car went only forward and right even if I steered backwards or left. I made a complaint but I received a new L-motor and a new servo-motor as they said it was due to the motors. Of course it was the remote as I stated to them but they wouldn't believe. Somebody already tried this remote set: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000134410883.html?spm=a2g0o.home.01008.6.650c2c25bj5Qci -> it seems it can drive buggy-motors (or better the 'monster' motor)
  19. I removed the link, didn't know it was a moc. I have the same problem with the servo, it doesn't always return to center. The L-motor already gave up and the remote doesn't work 100% anymore. If I turn to right it goes to right, if I turn to left it turns to ... right. Same for back and reverse. I got new motors from CADA, but didn't get a new remote.
  20. Hello, I am new here. I just logged in to tell the following. After I was experimenting with the CADA power brick, I blew 2 of the chips, due to the heat, the model of the chips became visible. Thes are Sinotech Mixic Electronics MX1616L http://www.mixic.com.cn/ browse to products -> motor drivers, it's somewhere in the list. It takes 2 to 8V and 1.5A continous and 2.5A peak. I attached the spec. I didn't find the chip for sale yet, but I did find the MX1616 that has a little higher voltage rating. But I think the L in mx1616L stands for low, so probably the MX1616 will be to big to fit the cada case.
