[MOC] Baureihe 01 motorised steam locomotive (7w) — Albrecht edition
As a big fan of 7w steamers, I'm in love! I hope your child will like it as well when building it during Christmas :)

HELP! ! !
I can't figure out how to embed images. I have hosted the image here: http://flemmbrav.de/E-Coupler/Bilder/Coupler.webp The button on the bottom right does not work. typing doesn't work either. There also seems to be no way to just type bbcode instead of using the editor. I tried with .pngs as well, didn't work either. How does one embed images?

Coupler with PF link
Hi everyone, since early this year I am working on upgrading the electronics of my new steamer. (I'll showcase that one once the electronics work the way I want them to) A big part of that has been an improved power supply to the loco from the tender allowing for a detailed interior as well as quickly connecting the train. I've build a new coupler being able to transfer the PF cable from the tender to the loco without any further interaction. I've equipped all four couplers of the loco + tender with these couplers and they work fine on R40-S-curves as well as switches and everything else I have at home. I can even run the tender on the non-cab-side of the loco and it'll run just as fine. This not only frees up space in the cockpit, but I also plan on equipping my coaches with lights soon, that connect via these couplers. I wrote a documentation with full instructions, STL file and electrical background of the project that can be found at http://flemmbrav.de/E-Coupler/Home.html, aiming to update it in the future in case the design improves. Please feel free to build your own, I do not claim exclusivity on this design :). You can also find a small video showcasing the coupler on the main page there.
- How could I provide power and/or data coupling between train cars?

LINT inspired regional train
Heyo! Been lurking this sub for quite some time as i've build trains since like 10 years or so by now. Sadly i don't live next to my bricks no more which results in my latest MOC being around 4 years old by now. I want to show it nonetheless as it provides some features that are, at least in my concern, unique to this MOC. It's a bit dusty which I'm sorry for. Goals of the project where: 1. access to the whole train layout and thus features either power functions or the IR base. 2. to use plattforms under LEGO standard ( meaning two studs away from the outer track, and two studs plus two plates above the floor of the track. ) 3. accessable interior with space for extra luggage or bikes and stuff and two different classes. 4. to be able to carry around extra cars. 5. 6 wide train as that's the standard on our layout. The train also shall pass the bridge of the LEGO station 7937. That's the train. The battery box is behind the first driving cab, aftere there's some space for luggage and two seats witht he IR module on the roof. The second car provides four seats in the second class and a first class with two seats. there's a switch on top of the roof the reverse the voltage for the second boogie. The front sections provide lights, colour can be switched by changing the transparent bricks inside of the cab, thus the direction oft the train is hardly noticable without lights which i see as a plus. Haveving seats under the IR module makes the train quite high, but it fits the bridge i did mention above. Train from the side. The length between the edges of the doors is 32 studs which is enough for the stations. The heigth of the doors is a plate above the station's. The jakobs boogie is half a plate higher then the regular boogies, which is hardly noticable outside of these pics. Detail of the doors. They offer 3 studs width when opened and close perfectly in the body. There's also an extendable plattform to close the gap between the train and the station. The gab closing plattform has the same heigth as the station. For details on the doors open the spoiler below. View on the interior of the train. There's a cup on the driver's desk, a wooden style wall with a cock to the first class. The first class provides two seats and a desk. The stairs to the door have orange marks. The 6 seats of the second class have some space in between but allow two seats a window still. The space between the trains has a gab of a single plate. Next to the second door is space for two suitcases or a bike as well as hinted folding seats. Behind the second doors is a wall pretending to look like wood again with another clock as well. For details on the interior check the following spoiler. Thanks a lot for reading threw this! Btw is there a way to scale the preview of the images?
