[MOC] Airships
I've finally finished the instructions for the airport, let's go ! brickyairport by Scriba CanardPC, sur Flickr The story : Originally Bricky Airport is the Shades of Blue Hotel, a 3 star hotel opened in 1923.Its construction was entrusted to the architect Henri Vié, it is entirely made of concrete and steel. The shades of blue, wanted by the owner André Douce, are found in the tiles and windows. The cascades, the columns and the four towers reinforce the verticality of the building. Located away from the city, the hotel has always been popular for its calm and views of the countryside surrounding. The Shades of Blue Hotel at its opening. sobbl by Scriba CanardPC, sur Flickr The hotel closed its doors in 2009. After several years of abandonment, the Bricktown Town Hall finally acquired it, after several abandoned conversion projects; an airport for the first airship companies was born. This conversion required extensive exterior work: opening the walls to set up the docks, useless suites were razed and the roof of the wings lowered, the interior was not left with the rooms transformed into control tower, offices and waiting room. Nice rear view of the hotel with the suites and their terraces. sobbl2 by Scriba CanardPC, sur Flickr a view of the office : IMG_2137 by Scriba CanardPC, sur Flickr the central part the central part during an exhibition Cusset 2019 by Scriba CanardPC, sur Flickr all pics Stud.io files Note : the arms of statue I've made with bricks are easy to build, but with stud.io it's more complicated, so I've made another one for the stud.io files, here the pics for of the real one : IMG_2133 by Scriba CanardPC, sur Flickr The windows are simply pushed into the wall IMG_2138 by Scriba CanardPC, sur Flickr it's easy to made with stud.io but can be confusing in the instructions. That's why they are not into the wall in the files.

Hello from France
Thanks, I used the 70603 to start the building of the first airship, that's why it reminds you this Ninjago set.

[MOC] Airships
With the end of fossil fuels and therefore kerosene, airlines have collapsed or converted into luxury travel by airships. New small companies have developed in areas left vacant by large companies. It's the beginning of the story, now let see the airships : At-Al AT-Al by Scriba CanardPC, sur Flickr IMG_2004 by Scriba CanardPC, sur Flickr Voliris (France) Engine: bio fuel The AT-Al is the modification of the AT-Ap intended solely for transport, this modification allows the boarding of passengers in conditions of very relative comfort but very cheap. StädTa 'UHU' IMG_2039 by Scriba CanardPC, sur Flickr IMG_2037 by Scriba CanardPC, sur Flickr Schempp-Hirth (Germany) Engine : Electric The Uhu is the short-distance air taxi you need : fast, perfect maneuverability, takeoff and short landing. The broadband connection allows you to post your trip in real time. Hello from France
So, Scriba here, hello from France. Fan of the City and Star Wars mostly, of course doing some MOC too. I have some stuff to share : AT-Al by Scriba CanardPC, sur Flickr Cavalletta by Scriba CanardPC, sur Flickr Cusset 2019 by Scriba CanardPC, sur Flickr and others. Need an advice : where can I post it ? In the Sci-Fi forum I guess ? Thanks
