  6. It's definately not the 650.
  7. I have a mystery for you! LEGO detectives needed! I found two of these in a box of old used bricks and no one seems to know what brick this is. It is old but not older than it says LEGO clearly on the studs. The height is like a base-plate. The material is rubber-like and it is very flexible. Difficult to say weather it has broken off something or weather the two pieces were once connected - I don't think so though, as it does look more like the little notch is just moulding residue (sprue). Its definitely not the 650 train coupling hinge (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=650#T=C), but probably a previous or later version of some sort of hinge. I Can't find it on Bricklink but probably didn't search the right places. Anyone who knows what brick this is and when it was produced? Set number, anything... Picture: Close up: very flexible:
  8. Sorry you missed it. Keep an eye on this site: www.togklodsen.dk
  9. Hi all, and thanks for your positive comments :-). Let me try to answer some questions: @SD100: I have yet to post pictures of my dark red steamer but it is basically just a color variation of my black steamer here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5359067 @zephyr1934: A note on my control system. It is a custom built digital system that I invented 10 years ago. I put fixed 12 volts in the tracks and onboard each locomotive I have a Pololu B-328 computer board that measures the speed through a proximity sensor on the axle, and then distributes power to the motors accordingly with a pulse width modulated signal. The main computer communicates with the trains through a serial Easy-Radio transceiver. I am currently working on adding a positioning dimension using PoZyx tags. And even though this works "fine-ish", a main problem hereto is that the PoZyx tags are too huge and can hence only be built into a subset of my locomotives. The rest is software :-). @HoMa: I agree on the curves, and these are actually being built. You can see the prototypes on my previous venue video. But this has introduced a new problem for me: I need a bigger car! :-)
