  1. It definitely would be a better collectible investment than a $100,000 McNugget in the shape of an Among Us guy. Yes, that's a real story.
  2. Yeah, definitely the most obscure GWP I've ever seen. Why couldn't they make something actually desirable, like an 8-wide Speed Champions P1 or something?
  3. Hence why I was hoping the set would be motorized. Whamp whamp.
  4. This is why you're such a great guy, RacingBrick. In your comments and your reviews you're always an optimistic voice of reason-type, and when you criticize a set for its flaws you do it in a very respectful manner. No disrespect to those on Eurobricks who aren't like this though.
  5. Glad there's no transmission like the Defender (which was broken, useless IMO, and took up most of the interior room) but why would a non-motorized model need differential locks?
  6. Really? Wow, LEGO finally added a new function to a 1:8 car! I'm also happy the doors are spring-loaded, but not happy about the steering wheel, which should be tilted!!
  7. @Pvdb's 1:10 MOC had very cool adjustable suspension. Damn wished the P1 set had this! I'm optimistic for this set still. If it's not the best 1:8 supercar set I'm legally changing my name to Jennifer. Or you can blow up my house.
  8. Looks great, but the front to me... still looks like a C8 Corvette ZO6. Still, definitely better looking than the SP3 set.
  9. The P1's orange isn't pure orange IMHO. Bright light orange in LEGO sets appears to just be an orangier yellow, which happens to be my favorite color (look at my profile pic). The 6-wide Speed Champions P1 and the Dreamzzz Space Car are examples of vehicles in this color.
  10. Frankly I absolutely love the set's exterior detail and the new orange color pops.
  11. Yes please! That'll be great. @kbalage should try something similar too.
  12. Full pictures released on r/legoleak.
  13. Weird placement though, the removable HOG in the P1 is much much better.
  14. Ah, I see now. Let's just hope in the official reveal the front of the LEGO P1 looks better than it does in the leaked photos.
  15. Damn, I hope it has adjustable suspension, anything to make it really unique compared to the Sian and SP3 instead of yet another boring functionless 1:8 dust collector.
  16. Completely agree. The rear photos of the set do look amazing! But the front needs some modification.
  17. The shaping (specifically the front) just looks... bad. Compare the leaked picture with the CaDa Assassin. The CaDa "P1" may be smaller but just looks so much more official.
  18. The headlights and grille look massive compared to the original car. Kinda worried this is gonna be heralded as another LEGO screw-up (like the MP4/4, missing SP3 headlights and in total LEGO frequently kinda screwing up sets for the past few years) or another "LEGO be like let's make a set of something that has already been a stellar MOC for the sake of capitalism" rant-about (Countach).
  19. Skeptic about this being the 10-year-old McLaren P1 model. This leads me to believe that the "P18" yet-to-be-revealed McLaren hypercar might adorn the name of its predecessor.
  20. Agreed. Looks miles better.
  21. StudWorks posted a post in a topic in LEGO Town
A Speed Champions-scale MOC of the 3rd Generation Toyota Tundra pickup truck. Instructions are available for purchase on my Rebrickable page. Unlike most 8-wide-scale full-size truck MOCs, this MOC is 9 studs wide instead of 8 studs wide to look realistic and lifelike next to slightly narrower, 8-stud-wide sports cars. I used a lot of special building techniques with jumper plates to achieve this, and along with my work translating the Tundra's unique exterior into LEGO form, I'm incredibly happy with the final product. The truck features a generously-sized bed with a removable tonneau cover, along with a huge 7-stud-wide interior that can easily fit four minifigures. Unfortunately, the tailgate is non-functional, as making it functional would have vastly compromised the rear design of the truck. This Tundra is made to represent a gray Platinum with the TRD Off-Road package. If you'd prefer building this truck in a different color or trim, like a TRD Pro, it can be done with some simple modifications.
  22. I just looked at the leaked pics, here's what I think:
  23. A Speed Champions MOC of one of the most iconic and beloved sports cars on the planet, the original NA Mazda MX-5 Miata/Eunos Roadster! Instructions are available for purchase on my Rebrickable page. This MOC is an exact replica of my personal Miata, and features a removable hardtop, opening hood, and of course, pop-up headlights (non-fuctional, parts must be removed and replaced). Minifigures do not fit, but with some modifications done to the interior they probably could. Similarities are shared with NV Carmocs' and Bricks, Blocks And MOCs' NA Miata MOCs, but otherwise this is a completely different MOC. With purchase, instructions for both the stock NA Miata and a Rocket Bunny widebody-equipped Miata are included!
