  1. No matter what it ends up being Iā€™m getting it. I still wish it was a post office. šŸ™‚
  2. Iā€™d like the answer to this as well. They already had a winter village post office, it was one of the first sets. I feel after all the modulars have mailboxes they should make a post office now. I hope they make it eventually. Seeing how this one should be a corner it would be perfect as a post office. Hopefully we get some kind of leak soon.
  3. Inverted corner or just a corner build... I am still hopeful for a post office! As of right now, there is one in the winter village series, and the hinted the new WV "hot air balloon ride" is anticipated to also have a post office from what I read somewhere (just a rumor so don't quote me)... but I need a post office in my modular line. Could have a postal truck as a GWP. Just my thoughts, next time they do the larger set, it should be a hospital (larger like Assembly Square and the Museum) Just my 2 cents. This is a rumor & discussion thread after all.
  4. When I saw the symbol on the moving van, I thought we had that somewhere before, like a cargo train car or the cargo plane, so I was thinking more like package delivery and therefore post office. (yes, I really want a damn post office) GWP could be an exhibit in the museum, because "natural museum" screams all sorts of things.
  5. I will get it regardless, this would have made more sense to have as the 20th anniversary set though. I am still hoping to one day get a post office, but a museum would be cool too. My question, is there or were there any clues in the Jazz club build to suggest the next modular?
  6. Aquanauts were probably the best thing ever when I was a kid, then they had another one similar that came out that I believe I only got the base for because they had it at KB toys outlet. I still have all those sets, complete with everything except the box. As for the modular (let's stay "mostly" on topic) office supply/post office would be a great edition, or like I said, newsroom but not like broadcast but newspaper with printing press and such. As much as the idea sounds good, I don't think a hospital would make a good modular. I know this year is going to be the biggest one yet, but at the same time, a clinic and pharmacy would be better suited instead of a hospital. Make like detective office kind of with part being the pharmacy and the other being the clinic with exam rooms, a waiting room/reception, etc., and over the pharmacy part could be doctor's offices. I only say this as my opinion because I grew up in a small town, next to two other small towns/cities in upstate, finger lakes, NY and all three's downtown area had rows of "modulars" gas station/auto garage on the corners, shops, pizza, one had a music hall and music shop next door, but my hometown had a bank on the corner (still does), a post office on another corner (still there) and a police station and fire station, all old style buildings, still there to this day. the hospital is out in the sticks practically. I wish I had a photo of downtown so you could see it.
  7. I know a post office was done as a moc by someone before, but I also know this one has been asked for, for quite some time now and might just happen. newsroom/post office combo perhaps. I mean this is all just rumors and speculation. It doesn't matter what it is, I will always get it on the 1st of the year as long as they continue with the modular line. Probably one of my favorite lines aside from the Aquanauts of the 90s
  8. I still want a post office, or else the Lego Dwellers will only get mail in december when the winter village post office is built :)
  9. Me too! With a newspaper print shop/news station on the top floor!

I think it would look good on the other side of the PR. so the Birch tree is by the staircase.

All good, I knew what you meant . I didn't realize DO was just a kitchen. hehe, I need to get all my sets back up... I need a house where I have a lego room, it has been determined.

I have people packs that are general business ones I could totally use in this town, with these having larger back areas, I can finally put the lawn mower mini-figure somewhere! Also, I have a park bench that could go back there too. This is too exciting and I need this NOW! Then I need to buy a house so I have room to set up my legos again

bottom of your list CC should be CG. And didn't DO have an apartment in it as well? That is where the cookies were being manufactured. I still want to see a Post Office. I have post office people and we have mail boxes. So far, the only post office is the one in the Winter Village. Aside from that I would love to see the following: School (old style with the desks on the back side of the chairs like they had in the 50s and 60s), clinic/hospital, police station (like fire brigade but I am thinking like the one in Chicago Blue tv show with a main office/front desk downstairs with a side area or back of jail cells, offices upstairs and maybe a third floor with jail cells or something), a museum with old lego history would be epic! I have a museum of sorts with the SWAT team, but it just isn't the same or nearly large enough.

Makes sense to me. I like them all, but I am also the weirdo that strings $2.50 battery operated white LED Christmas lights through all my buildings so they light up. Then you can't open them though. I discovered this BEFORE learning about https://www.lightailing.com/ Which I want to now invest in for ALL my modular buildings Is it just me, or does anyone else miss these only using the smiley face mini-figure heads? Just me? OK, cool! While the new ones with beards and lipstick and expressions are great too, I like how these particular sets had that classic feel to them. I once got angry with a mini-figure pack that had the heads printed on both sides but for some the hair or had did not cover the second expression. So I went on the pick a brick and bought a bunch of heads that were one sided to fix the problem.
