Animal Crossing 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Seems like the Celeste set has already sold out on Lego UK! Not surprised, it's cheap enough to push over the threshold for GWP and offers a nice little sample of the theme.

Animal Crossing 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
I'm okay with the pricing, honestly

Animal Crossing - Rumors & Discussion
My two summer sets arrived this morning, gotta make space to display em.

Animal Crossing - Rumors & Discussion
Getting only one of the Dodo brothers was a little disappointing, honestly. I know villagers are gonna be popular ofc, but I genuinely think they could have included both brothers and place Tangy elsewhere and it'd still sell. Unless they're gonna do a pack with Orville and alternative colours for the plane/airport.

Lego City 2024
Looks like the Water Plane is already on Backorder in the UK! I ordered my jungle sets last night through Nectar for the extra points and it was avaliable to pre-order but went straight on Backorder.

LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion
I've got Lloyd's Elemental Mech on the way, and I love that all the Ninja appear in cheaper sets this year. Kai and Zane are in Kai's Mech, and Lloyd and Nya are in Lloyd's. Cole and Sora got one each, Jay has the £9 Mech and Arin has his 4+ Mech or the £9 Dragon Gimmick. All under £25 and all have been 20% off minus Lloyd's Mech.

LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion
I just finished the Shadow Dojo, and I love it. Brilliant looking build, 3 really nice exclusives in Zane, Lloyd and Nya. Just kinda wish they took out Kai as he's already in two other sets for either a hooded member of the Wolf Clan or if they insisted on 4 Ninja maybe Cole or Jay as the repeat.

LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion
I was kinda hoping for Cole, so I could skip the set he's in. The vehicle doesn't appeal, and with only Climber Cole being exclusive to said set I could easily ignore it if he pops up on a magazine. Or even Jay, given he's the only Climber Mech exclusive. Kai, Zane, Lloyd and Nya all appear in the temple so that's somewhat reasonable to obtain those 4 In one go, and Kai is in two other sets

Animal Crossing - Rumors & Discussion
I reckon we'll get him, hopefully in a set based on either Resident Services. With 77052 thought to be 550 parts, I can't see it not being that or the Museum.

Animal Crossing - Rumors & Discussion
True, but Sonic at least received Badniks to bulk out characters. Personally I think I was just hoping for more than two figures in the theme's largest set. Whilst Sonic was similar, they just felt a big better value and I'm saying this as a fan of both.

Animal Crossing - Rumors & Discussion
100%. I know the sets might look basic and the figures cartoony/oddly proportioned to some, but that's the charm of Animal Crossing in the first place! I certainly think that more characters would have been nice. I know we'll likely get some in the summer sets, so it'd be nice to finish the personality types, and they can be done without new moulds. We've got smug represented by Marshal and Julian. Fauna is "normal", Bunnie is Peppy, as is Rosie. That leaves Lazy, Cranky, Jock, Snooty and "Big Sister" not represented yet. but there are characters that can reuse moulding. Stitches is a popular lazy character, and can easily reuse Maples head. Tom and Kabuki are cranky Cats, so Rosie's head piece is there. Snake and Kit are Jock squirrels, so Marshall. Snooty has Ankha the Cat and Diana the deer, whilst Big Sister has Mira the Rabbit and Fuchisa the deer. Francine and Chrissy are seen on printed tile, as is K. K. Slider so I'll think we'll get these as only K. K. needs a new head mould.

Lego City 2024
It feels like they're testing the waters for a full Sci-Fi theme with the City Space theme. The £9 mech makes me think of Power Miners. The admiral/gold leader figure feels Solomon Blaze esque. The interstellar ship feels like a modern Space Police 5981, and the Jetpack feels like a sleeker 30141 from Alien Conquest. The base is the sort of thing you'd expect from a Sci-Fi in-house theme

Lego City 2024
I'm curious as to if the new Lab will be a building, or a mobile pod that can swap out with the others in the Jan wave. But given that $35 (Assuming USD not CAD) is usually around £25-£30, I'm not holding out hopes for anything amazing if it's a solo building. (300ish parts at a guess, maybe as high as 350.) Assuming if it's a building, they'll want a small vehicle or side build that's usually 35 ish parts, figures another 5-6 each there's nearly 50 parts on two figs and a buggy.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
I love Animal Crossing, but you can't compare that as a CMF to say Looney Tunes, Simpsons or Muppets which will have a wider appeal. That said, AC would be better as polybags. Small build, character.

LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion
Finally got around to building the sets. I'm glad the Ninjas aren't repeated over the first wave, and when they appear in more than one set, they get Variants. (Master Lloyd, and the recoloured hoods for Nya and Kai, hair and half mask for Sora.) Just wish they gave us a bit more of the dark blue hooded Wolf Clan figure. Only in 2 sets until March, whereas the full mask member appears in all but two sets, giving us 7 of him. Perhaps one of the two £18 mechs could have had a hooded member over a masked member, and Kai's mech the same to give us 4 and 5 of each.
