  1. You might be right mr. Tiber, maybe it should be longer... I've put in 4 mid sections, i don't have any more and they're hard to find... However in the pictures it looks stubbier then it really is. Remind that in those ages, ships where sort of a bathtub with sails :-/ If you have any construction questions, i'll try to explain with some pictures. Thnx for the nice comment!
  2. I did it, the pictures are in the first posts. I'll try to make better ones when the model is finished, i really need a new camera... Greetings mate's!

Hi, here are some pictures of my new Imperial navy frigate. It doesn't have a name yet, but it's loosely based on La Rennomee, which can be seen here: drudock models A very good pictorial reference site, i think. But here she is: Let me know what you think, still need to think about lifeboats and stuff. eNJOY!
  7. I like the BSB better, it's more realistic.

Thank you, thank you :'-) The Denise was the first ship i build in years, i used to build a lot as a kid. I'm building normal size now, since i want t build forts and harbours too. Then i'm going to make comics with my mocs, i'll keep you posted. Greetings mate's!
  13. Hello Mr Gui45, I think most builders are specialised in one type of Mocs. I'm reasonably good at building ships, but i stink in buildings. Right now i'm working on a complete imperial harbour, ships, pirates, treausure island etc. The ships where done in hours, but the buildings are still scratch. Looking at your frigate you've got the shape allright, but i think you should look at the details on the real ships. I've overlooked hundreds of pictures, that really helps. I usually make my sails out of old sheet covers, i dye them in water with tea and put fine striping on with a pencil. I'll be posting the pictures of my new moc ships soon, maybe there helpfull. Good luck and happy building! Greetings mate's!

You were looking for the builderof the Denise? You found him, or i found you actually. Too bad, the Denise has sunk... But new ships are on their way X-D Thank you for all the nice comments on my ship. But i'm from Amsterdam, not from Belgium |-/ (no offence) Greetings mate's!
  15. I think it's illegal copy and since it's from China, the plastic's probably toxic. But i like the railins and crowsnests *sweet*
