  1. At first, I did not bother about the wheels being smaller for such scale. But after seeing the video at around 24/25 seconds mark, it is horrible. Really liked how just like Apollo Supercar they used metal element in the rear. The best part is it is truly amazing to see both the doors and the sideview mirrors move at the same time.
  2. Ah guys! Don't make me look like a maniac who tortures his Tow Truck's steering to death 🤦‍♂️ Besides, as said here it is meant to be heavy duty During its 8 month (ongoing) life, I take it out once or twice every month to check the functions. Its moving and steering are of least priority. Howevr, one accidental wind up and it might cause that which I don't think I've done. Also, there is another thing which might factor in. If ya guys remember the parts in this set are of different nature as discussed here. The blue pins the black pins even the 3L black cross-axle pins everything (compared to Lego's own standard) is weird. My point if it is played normally for such long time that kinda worn out might happen with the parts factoring in. Thanks for yer input and insight 🤗
  3. Long-term 42128 users, I was disassembling the front part to make some changes to the engine and then I saw this: So, apparently, the bottom steering shaft's 3L LBG connector gets to "contact" with the black gear rack when steering. As a result, the black prints of the bottom gear rack gets slightly mixed with that connector and the connector's LBG prints is evidently on that black gear rack. I have no problem steering at all but, I am bit confused. Has this been happening to the other users as well? Should I let this be continue?
  4. Since Grohl is a TLG employee/designer he can narrate that way. The real reason could be: [Common] people are getting smarter and smarter at making B models. So Lego [quietly] transfers the duty to the people. I have told this lightheartedly. There maybe some serious financial and strategic reasons behind that. Honestly, the amount of very good quality MOCs that we get from us as B models per set are enough for satisfying the needs. Yet we scream for this mainly because an official B model can further justify the value of an official set. Howevr, I guess as 1/8 cars and flagship C- sets are becoming bigger and resource hungry badasses perhaps we can forgive them for not making B models at least for those type of sets. Btw, has anyone noticed two plus months have gone and there is yet no MOCs for 42143 Daytona SP3 up on Rebrickable? Had the previous 2 took that much time??
  5. Ambulance? Yupe. Pullback? Nup. It will rush the passengers to death
  6. I have proposed an ambulance back in 2020 and it caused some backlash here as many would not perceive this as a proper Technic model. With all the features speculated above I want the stretcher to be made (more like helped) by Grohl. Dude's accessories skills is almost (as Nico71 is a good designer too) unmatched. Another addition (or extension) to the ambulance feature could be pulling out and in the stretcher with Technic controls.
  7. A 350ish parts Mini Golf Cart with a completely different official B model is what I want to see as a future set. Even for 300ish parts Lego might not consider a B model. Sigh
  8. Thanks, then I might lean on it [if I get it] because oh boy that looks so rightfully technic-y.
  9. Given the fact that they are originally one long piece part does it affect the rotation when in high speed? Btw you can post this mods in the mods and improvement thread.
  10. I'd also like to see a whole yellow or a whole red makeover of this beauty. Still will be better looking than yellow/red 9396 wannabe
  11. Whiting that part out is truly eyepleasing [despite their potential to becoming yellow in long distant future] rather than doing a yellow/red combo as that is too much reminiscent of 9396 :3 It quickly loses its own visual identity.
  12. Your presentation is top notch. As for the set I mean the MOC [looks so much like an official one] looks sooo lifelike. The details are amazing. Really liked the sideview mirror solutions.
  13. That's inspiring. Would be great to see what MOCs and Mods can be done with it. [If the 1/8 scale supercars excluded] I guess it is the most challenging build since the 42110 Defender set?
  14. In short, for a RC car this heavy, yes.
  15. Anyone follows this guy's reviews? With such small video and no voiceover, he made very good points with a nice summary.
  16. That's not the first time though. Last year the book and stickers also came in a separate package with my 42128 which is IMO essential.
  17. A secret/surprise set does not have to be connected to the Crane's delay Maybe its development has started way before that. Besides, if the bold points to be assumed, I myself would not think of TLG doing a 1k piece "surprise" set after the fact that the Liebherr gets delayed. Anyway my understanding for such a set this year is the 42142 that can be released later point of this year [even if it is on 31st December here and 1st January there ]
  18. Don't be so firmly confirmed about what Lego is going to do/not to do. Who knows maybe a secret [with proper/no rushed quality control] set is already in development. The Crane can be delayed until next year and still can manage to get booed when released
  19. Thanks. Looks like it is up for preorder now for 186£ on amazon UK. We are not that far from official release anyway.
  20. July 26 here, has the Airbus started to appearing in the local/physical shops? IIRC the Dom's charger the cement truck (and the like) started to appear week before their official release date.
  21. Watched the 3rd and final part of the Western Star 6900 Truck MOC by Nico71. It just excites me the way the truck pulls up and then drags in the mud pump. That mud pump looks extremely good and polished. I somehow liked its decent off-roading more on grassy field. Its turning radius is decent. Overall, it is one the (few) best Technic MOCs of 2022. The MOC Looks so well tuned and refined.
  22. That also started to happening to my first 42110 unit (bought in Nov, 2019). Its LBG parts started to appear ever-so-slightly brighter! Pure black 42043 cabin could look good in the first case pictured!
