eBay madness
Hello all Im not sure if this counts as Ebay madness, but I do feel slightly mad to be selling all my minifigs anyway for those who may be interested, Im currently selling a large number of minfigs on Ebay. There are some quite rare ones in there, Im sure the collection would be of use to someone: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=170416878818 Im also selling a Cloud City set and 4483 AT-AT! Apologies if this isnt in the correct forum.... its been a while since Ive been here! Andy

2004/2005 Sets and discussion thread
I wouldnt be surprised if there isnt a carbonite Han included to be honest - this set sounds like it's based around the scene on the Super Star Destroyer where Vader is talking to the bounty hunters, and at that point Boba Fett hasnt even been to Cloud City yet and Han isnt in the carbonite. I could be wrong, but it'd make more sense for Carbo-Han not to be included. Cool. Though he will be different in one way of course - his body and legs are going to be bley! That'll upset the purists ;) Sounds very interesting... does he look like one of these guys?

2004/2005 Sets and discussion thread
Would have been cool, but a new Bossk head-mould was probably too much for Lego to stretch to :( will be interesting to see how they go about doing 4-LOM, Dengar and IG-88.... whether they make a good effort with them, or try and do it on the cheap, a la the Sandcrawler droids :/

2004/2005 Sets and discussion thread
Awesome news all round. I cant believe we're actually getting a bounty hunter set, I think Ive died and gone to heaven! Im quite shocked that they're releasing so many OT sets in one go... that set list reads more like an OT fan's wishlist than an actual official release list. You'd think that they'd keep focussing on EpIII stuff while the kids have still got some enthusiasm for it. Its quite a poor marketing decision IMHO, but as an OT fan I'm really glad :) I wonder if the A-Wing crewman is just the same engineer we got in the old set (but in peach, obviously)? Just hope they give the A-Wing and B-Wing pilots some better (ie more accurate looking) helmets this time round..... IG-88. Marvellous :D

Sandcrawler
Got a question - I dont know much of the EU, so could someone please enlighten me about V-Wings? Ive had a search online and there seem to be two things called a V-Wing - one's an airspeeder from the Dark Empire comics, and the other's a new starship from ROTS (thats in the incredible cross-sections book). Is that right? And if so, which is it we're getting? confused in the north :/ -------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT - after a bit more searching, I think its probably more likely to be the new V-Wing from ROTS isnt it, seeing as this is actually in the film and is therefore canon: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V-Wing_starfighter cool - sort of half way between an A-wing and a TIE fighter.

Yeah it looks like a sham doesnt it. Did you notice someone at FBTB noticed a couple of flaws in the set descriptions too - namely that Lego sets are always priced x.99 rather than x.95, and that Chewie couldnt come with C3-P0 on his back as it would be impossible to fit any sort of backpack to his moulded back. Oh well - back to the Sandcrawler ;)

2004/2005 Sets and discussion thread
He says "Q4 2005", so it'll be the end of the year. Here's the link to his post: http://www.fbtbforums.net/viewtopic.php?t=570 I guess "Jedi Training" would be the scene aboard the Falcon where Luke is lightsaber training with the remote? I really hope all this info is true as I'd love to have all these sets, they sound great - however thats what also makes me suspicious! They almost sound *too* good, more like a fan's wishlist than a real Lego release. Shame we cant see those pics, just to be sure ;)

2004/2005 Sets and discussion thread
Someone has posted some links to 4 new OT system sets on FBTB - the image links he includes dont work, so Im a little sceptical, but the set names and content do sound quite convincing: - JEDI TRAINING 51 pcs (7.95) Includes Luke Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, Han Solo. - DEATH STAR COMMAND 39 pcs (7.95) Includes Darth Vader, Grand Moff Tarkin (!), Stormtrooper. - SLAVE 1 432 pcs (59.95) Includes Boba Fett, Han Solo in carbonite, Lando Calrissian, Princess Leia, Chewbacca w/C3PO, Stormtrooper, Stormtrooper. - REBEL RESCUE 218 pcs (Ice Planet Hoth) (29.95) Includes Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Snowtrooper, Taun-Taun, Wampa ice creature. ...so who knows, made up rumour or real? doubt it'll stay on FBTB for long, either way.

2004/2005 Sets and discussion thread
It could be that the brick built droids are the big black dome shaped one (no idea what its called): and the treadwell with lots of arms: ...as they could probably be done quite easily. Cant believe we're getting an Uncle Owen minifig - Lego are going for the obscure option for once!
