Honestly, I liked the sets pretty much. I still think the 2017 GH was superior in every aspect, but this new iteration is not that bad (mostly because of the inclusion of the COS). Seeing how well the sets blend together, I think Lego could stick to this new modular Hogwarts (which baffles me bc I liked the previous versions more). Anyway, I might pick the Fluffy set and the bathroom and try to connect them to my Hogwarts display as I think they might fit well.

I'll wait a few months until I see it for a fair price, since 90€ looks outrageous (not for the price per piece but mostly for the price difference between countries). Unless the set comes with the trinity, Thanos and a pair of really nice looking side avengers, I won't be picking it up until a few months go by

Maybe the Forbidden Corridor stacks up with the bathroom and then they can be connected to the GH ? Those jumpers on the top of the bathroom gave me that impression

I've seen the images and I have to say that the Hogsmeade set looks really good, way better than I initially expected. But for the Hogwarts ones... Well, let's say I'm not the biggest fan of them. I get that those are supposed to be reboots of the original ones and as reboot sets, I think they work quite well but those green roofs are a big nono to me. The CoS seems to look good and I really hope LEGO had done the 2018 GH with that possible expansion in mind. The girl's bathroom is a bit disappointing since I expected it not to be in that ''framed'' style (if that makes any sense) but I'll buy it anyway since it looks like that may fit with the previous Hogwarts sets. I don't really like the way the Forbidden Corridor looks. Again, looks perfect as an anniversary set since it pretty much nails the essence of the older 2010 style, but doesn't match my current Hogwarts display. We still have to wait and see the final product, but for now, I'll pass on the new Hogwarts GH and Forbidden Corridor. I really hope that most of the sets that are not anniversary-themed are OoTP/HBP/DH based or this year my HP additions will be quite short...

Same feelings right here. That new Anniversary Hogwarts GH kinda seems that another big Hogwarts expansion featuring the final battle is a bit more unlikely now. Even though I still hope that we get some sort of Courtyard Battle with Death Eaters, knight statues and some teachers/aurors. I just would love to fill up my current Hogwarts display with good vs bad guys all around the place

I don't own Marvel/Avengers sets though I like to keep myself updated on what's going on outside the themes I collect (SW and HP), but reading what's been cooking here the last few hours and thinking about an Endgame's final battle set... Man, If that's true I might end up spending those extra 300$. Just thinking about this gave me goosebumps!

The Night Bus is really nice. I wasn't going to pick it up but I saw It for 16€ and couldn't resist getting it. I was a bit skeptical at first but after finishing the build I have to admit that it looks nice displayed next to Privet Drive.

Definetly, that would be such a dope set to see in the 60-80$ range. After seeing what the summer wave is going to include, hope is not lost yet. If it were to be a microfighter it would have to include Grievous, and I think that the moulds used for him are expensive to produce (i.e. Grievous Speeder / Starfighter) so I don't really see Lego including him in a 20$ set, though it would be nice to get him in a cheap duoble microfighter. It's also possible that Cody might be part of that rumored Star Wars CMF series, and that's why he is not in the Gunship nor summer wave sets.

Maybe that's why they didn't include Cody in the Gunship (or at least presumably). If they had thrown him in a 350$ many people would be beyond upset. They might be holding him for a future release. An Utapau set like that would sell like hotcakes if Cody and some 212th figures were included.

You're right. They're losing sales on that by not including any exclusive or rare/desired figure. I guess that's why the price point is so low compared to the previous iteration. Even though, I might eventually get the shuttle when the price goes down since I own none of the previous ones.

It should be the logical option since the 501st sold so well. But on the other hand, a 212th clones set would compete against the 501st so that might be a problem for LEGO. They might not do another clone set but one with Imperial forces to go along with the Arquitens cruiser.

Personally, this is quite disappointing since there's so little DH sets. Although I think this is fake (or at least I deeply hope It is), I wouldn't be surprised if we end up having a similar lineup to that. I mean, the DA expansion it's a fine addition to the existing set, and the Ironbelly and Infery sets look cool, but the rest seem a bit unnecessary right now. I'd much rather see a Courtyard battle instead of Hogsmeade and a Ministry of Magic OotP/DH1 instead of the Quidditch cup one. The Freeing Dobby looks like an interesting reboot of the original set, but I would've preferred a DH tent with the trio with a snatcher or some kind of Hogwarts Corridors featuring some kind ofbattle from DH2.

Hi! I've been reading what you all people have been saying and I must admit I'm also beyond shocked to receive such a good wave this summer. The only ones I might be passing on are the Slave I (since I got the 20th anniversary one for Christmas), UCS R2 and the 800$ beast set. I have my doubts about the Gunship... My decision on that one may change on the minifigure selection and the overall look of the set. If there's no P2 Cody nor Jedi Bob, I might pass on that one.
