Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
“Last Year” exists in a completely separate timeline/universe now. Last set I ordered from Lego took 14+ days to arrive.

Lee Jordan would demand a suitable mold for his hair, I’m not sure that one exists right now. I would potentially want any and all players and particularly Jordan to complete the scene of a full quidditch match.

^When a non-committal suggestion of +\- 1 minifigure is the closest thing we’ve had to a leak in a week...

She went to the Yule Ball with Fred. She later marries George, though. Doubt we’d ever get her or Lee Jordan as a minifig. Katie Bell, maybe.

I believe that this might also be a conscious and strategic choice so that stills/footage accross the last several (Yates) films could be utilized more efficiently. Both in terms of actual cutting of the film, as well as for marketing materials, not to mention simplifying stunt work, wardrobe, etc. Even large budget films/series tend to use narrow wardrobes when they deal with a large ensemble cast.

I just noticed that too! Hard to tell from the limited picture (I HATE HS boxes!) but that looks like a straight up knock-off Hairy Otter castle. Which is great, from a pieces perspective. Like the whole graveyard dualism from last year.

Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
Is anybody hurting for wands?!? I’ve got about 4,000 of the damn things. I would be interested in seeing them do one of the figure packs like they’ve done for Ninjago, Etc. But it would be tough to do anything other than “random death-eaters” or “random HW students”.

Sorry, but I’ve got very little sympathy for any argument against more sets. You have a fairly long span of time to purchase them, and they are often discounted. Everybody has their budget, but your budget is your own. Complaining about too many HP Lego sets on a topic dedicated to fans of HP Lego... Let people enjoy things.

His robes are open, and his lapel is covering the position where his Hogwarts crest would be... Can’t say much about his prefect badge, as that should be on his lapel. But in any case, the book Riddle has to represent the CoS Riddle, as there is no other film appearance that even remotely matches the book figure.

Nice infographic! Is that including FB sets and/or Brickheadz? Just curious.

Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
I don’t think that’s a meaningful metric, when you consider just how popular the larger (GH, WW, HE, etc) sets have been. If Lego sees larger sets selling better than smaller sets for a given theme, no reason they wouldn’t use that info.

I would really like to see Hagrid’s motorbike eventually, though. Just out of morbid curiosity as to how the hell they would pull that off...? I don’t see it happening with the current Hagrid and motorcycle molds available, not to mention the legs issue, AND creating a sidecar... The chances of failure are innumerable.

You can also use a 1x1 round stud w/hole and a round plate with bar 1L sticking out the bottom of the owl to attach a letter tile.

Of all the sets to leak first... the polybag. Hope we get another 6-8 tables in this year’s advent calendar too! Need somewhere for all of those nearly identical Harry minifigs to sit. Meh.
