  1. Amazing set! The Rancor does not disappoint on size either! It looks not far of the T-rex size like I said it would be. Now I can't wait to see a shot of this with the palace set sitting on top!
  2. I would say that probably is a quiet one yes. Even more so, as already in july I have bought 8 SW sets and another 10 minifigs!
  3. Ah, a voice of reason. The only reason the other UCS starship sets had figs was because the ended up being minifig scale (Falcon and shuttle) or in the SSD case the set had absolutley no features what so ever without them and the mini bridge. The fig with the UCS R2 was just plain weird if you ask me!
  4. june was a reasonably quiet month for me, with only a few purchases. Argos had the cheap Tie fighter for £35.36 and Battle of Naboo for £15.99. Then with the free £5 voucher bought another Battle of Naboo for under £11! 9494 Anakin Jedi Interceptor 9495 Gold leaders Y-wing 12 Geonosians warriors and 9 Geonosian zombies from BL

A real bargain is the UCS Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter on UK shop@home for £46.49!!! Grab this great set at this great price as I would think it is a clearance sale price!
  6. Looks like a very good model to me! Sure, it would have been nice for the cockpit to rotate properly as you turn the model but that is a small criticism.
  7. It might be sooner than that! Don't forget last year we saw this years Tie and the queen Amidala fig at Comic Con.
  8. Very nice job on the ship! You have captured the look very nicely. When building a more obscure ship from the Star Wars universe, it is a good idea to give a reference picture for people to see how well you have done. I know it is in the video but a picture next to the model always shows it off well.
  9. Pictures of the new Advent R2 from the ebay US seller. The ebay auction
  10. That was what I was getting at, yes. Unfortunatly our favourite plastic bricks do not do well on windows and other places in the sun for long periods. It is worth thinking about if you want to keep your sets in good condition.
  11. Some very nice collections over the last few days! Masked Builder you should ask for the whole cabinet as you are more or less there anyway! A couple of really nice shots from WoickNole! The rebels look great in that shot! A nice collection from Speeder bike! Although seeing those sets on the window sill did make me wince a bit.
  12. Well David, if you meant as a bit of fun then I am sorry for my reactive post. Maybe next time good use of the smilies is in order.
  13. While I think your collection is amazing and I admire the way you fund it with your youtube videos your complete lack of respect (typical teenager) for other collecters always comes through. A real shame you have not learned a bit of humility by now.
  14. Hi Rich Welcome to Eurobricks. Glad to see another UK SW lego fan out there. I will say that after your wallet was stolen, I would keep a close eye on your Bank account as Lego has a real habbit of going after that next!

Actually if you check out this picture, the part of the arena ACPin has made is pretty much how he built it with some slight artistic licence. Pentranaki Arena

Forget that! Go on Amazon.es for all the new sets shipped to the UK for discounts up to 30% off delivered! These kind of questions should be in the Star Wars sets anyone? thread too.

Once again a masterpiece in lego form from a MOC legend! The whole thing is a dream set up for a Attack of the Clones fan like myself! I would have loved to have seen my Geonsians and sand red Battle Droids in what would be their perfect surroundings. If only that dam Atantic Ocean was not in the way!
  18. While none of the pictures are new, I suppose it would be good to have some of my republic Army-Fleet all together.
  19. I would say forget the size of those three figs as they just are not big enough. The new T-rex from the dino line is a real example of how big the Rancor could be. Picture borrowed from Plissken's 5886 review
  20. I don't have the set but from all the pictures I have seen when you pull the trap door open the hole goes right through the base of the model. So yes this would work with some kind of Rancor pit!
  21. Well I have looked into what I would need to cover the cost of replacing my collection (insurance purpose) and I would be looking around the £35,000-£40,000 mark. This is not all sets I must say, as I have bought quite a lot of minifigs which have gone up in value if I needed to replace them. Have you seen the price of new Clone Wars phase one plain clones these days! My Star Wars sets total is a little under 800 these days, another 6 months and I am sure I will be over that. Most expensive purchace? 10179 UCS Falcon. Full RRP of £350 for the pre-order first edition set. Still unbuilt in my loft/attic.
  22. I was thinking about it but decided the 100 mile round trip, plus parking was not worth the 15% discount. I went to my local Argos (2 min drive free parking) instead and picked up the Cheap Tie fighter for £35.36 and Battle of Naboo for £15.99. Then with the free £5 voucher bought another Battle of Naboo for under £11! Over £101 worth of lego for £62.34, now that's a proper discount!
  23. Not to many buys last month. Just the UCS SSD on May the forth and 2 TC-14 Also ordered the 2009 Comic-Con Mini Dropship & AT-TE as it was bugging me that it was missing from my collection. I also have another Retail flag/banner on order from BL.
  24. We he is not technically a minifig in Lego's eyes, just 4 molded parts with 2 being printed.
  25. I don't know if I like them but they are so professionally done they look like real sets!
