Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Same, I have it on my shelf in the living room and I just havent been in a rush to put it into my layout. I'm even tempted to put Brick Bank up with it as an opposite corner. CG may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I think it's a lovely set. I enjoyed the build and new techniques, and I like looking at it.

MOCs: Pimp your Town ride or City vehicles for grown-ups
I think the Ice Cream truck works very well as a 7w, especially with that 3 wide grille and the 1x2 brick with hole as the headlamp housing.

[REVIEW] 10264 - Corner Garage
Being a car guy and an animal lover, this is one I was interested in from day one, even if I was somewhat underwhelmed by the set itself. Anyway, I got it for my birthday on Friday and finished assembling it last night and its definitely the kind that you have to build to appreciate. I still wouldnt say it's one of my favorites, but I think it's far better than most of you are giving it credit for. The angled facade is lovely in person and interesting to build, it's a treasure trove of uncommon pieces, and there isnt a single sticker to be found. I have yet to integrate it into my layout, but I have the feeling it will look right at home with the rest. Palace Cinema still stands as my least favorite to build and to look at.

Speed Champions 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
I intend to add racing stickers, this isnt meant to be a street car, I want it to be a cup Mustang. I want to keep all the stickers official Lego, so I'm searching around for number stickers that look right to me. I have to see what sticker sheets I still have unused in my own collection even. And I dont think it still looks like a Camaro or that it's a just Camaro with Ford branding. Leave the stickers off the set and it's just a generic race car much like the real thing, that's what gave me the idea in the first place. The next step after putting stickers on this is to do another car in an actual NASCAR livery, one of the Penske or Stewart-Haas cars.

Speed Champions 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
Well, the actual race cars have virtually the same body with manufacturer specific fascias that mostly amount to stickers anyway, I applied the same thinking to the set. It looks better than the Camaro imo. https://photos.app.goo.gl/2tiNtYTnTSgu1ToJ7 https://photos.app.goo.gl/6RLuTLt4TmrzDvn38 https://photos.app.goo.gl/m7qh1s8fUecUW4pH9

Steinbruck - Modular town & Vehicles (NEW: Corner Square)
I love your solution for windshields on the SUV and pickups, it gives the greenhouse much better proportions.

[MOC] Car Spindle
I absolutely love the use of the classic town 4 wides for this. It fits the source material perfectly.

Future Star Wars Sets
Your best bet would be to recolor the Pelta-class Rebel Combat Frigate. Given that they just made that set. The likelihood of another Pelta anytime soon is very slim, as there are other ships that need to be done or re-released. After the upcoming Resurgent-class destroyer, the Hammerheads or CR-90 Corvettes would seem to be the most likely new star ships, though I'm still hoping for an Arquitens and Imperial-I or II class as well.

Modified 75175 A-Wing
I have all but the original and 75150, and this is probably the least accurate of the bunch. None of mine stay stock, all of them have been modified, but this probably took the most work out of the box to get close to the right proportions. I did most of the same mods as you, minus the engine, but I did remove the spring shooters and unsightly firing mechanisms.

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
If it were sold in stores it would be a $20-$25 set. You meant to tell me that the design process is what doubles the price of this set over that of a non-exclusive with a similar piece count? Now, if you wanted to frame your argument as them recouping costs over a much smaller production run than a comparably sized non-exclusive, I could absolutely see that, but that would still mean the price is based on the set's exclusivity.

Recoup costs on a bunch of grey bricks and plates and the same Luke and Han in production for the DS (technically just their heads and hair, as the trooper body and helmet aren't exactly uncommon)? That $40 price tag is for exclusivity. Not that I have a problem with that. It's a collectible convention exclusive. It won't be in stores and it's not aimed at kids, so what do people expect?

Future Star Wars Sets
Well that explains the otherwise random seeming bounty hunter pack. Selling those 4 characters to us is easy, but I was curious as to how they'd sell them to children. Apparently the answer was to put them in Freemakers. Very smart. And just think of how much AFOLs complain about that line. Shame they included Dengar again though, this would have been the perfect opportunity for Zucuss, and forced people to buy the Eclipse or seek him out on the second hand market.

[MOC] Luke's Landspeeder
This looks amazing. This is the Landspeeder we deserve, not a rerelease of the same basic design we've had for a decade.

Future Star Wars Minifigs
I'd love to see a set with Fenn Rau, Gar Saxon, Imperial Super Commandos, and dark saber Sabine. I suppose her brother and mother too, but that'd be asking too much. Here's hoping we get some Mandalorian sets for S4. It's dawned on me that there will be many characters from the show that we'll probably never see in minifig form. The chance of a Ponda Baba in a rerelease of the cantina is much higher than most TCW and Rebels characters.

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Got the 75175 A-wing today. It's a lovely set, though I immediately ditched the spring shooters and lowered the curved slopes next to the cockpit by 1-stud to make it look less chunky and more in line with my 4 other A-wings. Now I'm waiting on the green Rebels A-wing from Ebay and I'll have every official A-wing minus the original but plus my custom. Also got the Phantom 2, but I'd really like to finish my Ghost revamp before I put it together.

Future Star Wars Sets
I'd mainly like some of the old figs in the new, non-TCW style. Perhaps even a set with Satine, though that will never happen. Beyond that, a new Venator would be nice, or maybe an Arquitens, though I'd likely swap to imperial colors.

[PRESS RELEASE] 75144 Snowspeeder
This. After the Insult on Hoth and the DS remake (which I liked because I didn't have the original DS, but still, *remake*), we get yet another remake and it's also just a larger version of what we just got in another UCS. I won't be getting this because it's not up my alley in terms of what I collect, $200 can go a long way towards building my minifig scale fleets, but it is undeniably a gorgeous set and a fantastic update of the original.

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
In Empire's End, it's stated that the Imperial remnant took Palpatine's Eclipse to the unknown regions. I'm not saying it will look exactly like the Legends Eclipse, but it's a good bet that this SSD will be the Eclipse. The description certainly sounds at least a little like the Eclipse we knew, whether or not the canon Eclipse is just a regular SSD or not is unknown.
