  1. I chose those mainly to keep it thin and while I'm content with the effect, part of me is wondering if there's a better solution to reflect the more rounded curves of the real thing. Thank you - very kind to consider it and end result! There's always room for improvement in my mind Please do! I'd love to see what you can do with it.
  2. Thank you! Good question. Maybe they'd argue the fuselage is the third wing? Mind you the y-wing or a-wing arguably don't have any wings, so I won't lose sleep over it!
  3. I hate to necro an old thread - but I have now built this monster in real life. Seeing it appear in Kenobi (which made me do a literal double-take) was just the push I needed to finish it. (I also had no idea it had been two years (!) since I designed this thing. Time flies.) Tri-wing S-91x Pegasus by TeddytheSpoon, on Flickr First of all - please excuse the gross stickers on the windscreen. This is a 15 euro part, but I found a U-wing for 40 euro, so I took it. For now it just means I have to live with the stickers. Tri-wing S-91x Pegasus by TeddytheSpoon, on Flickr I didn't have to make many structural changes relative to the digital model, which was something of a surprise to me. The front landing gear does need a stay to prevent the ship from faceplanting, and the engine intakes had some minor tweaks, but on the whole it's pretty sturdy. I'm not finished with this - my first port of call is to add some LED lighting, which will require a bit of disassembly and some careful wiring. Down the line there are some more changes needed as well. I don't mind studs in a model, but I do think the wings in particular could be smoother. More egregiously, despite being a three-seater, minifigs can't actually fit in the rear seats due to a lack of arm- and head-room. These are likely to be fairly wholesale changes though, so check back in two years for the next update...
  4. I was just wondering when we'd be treated to another one of these! Marvelous work as always - I like the difference in aesthetic to the others.
  5. To be fair, the prototype b-wing from Rebels was orange and white. Stick a ball turret at the base of the main wing and voilà! Echoing everyone else - a very nice rendition. I like the aesthetic of embracing the studs.
  6. Surely it has to be the ManDOORlorian! Neat idea for some vignettes, they look great.
  7. I wonder if a microscale Yavin IV base could work here? Maybe with the Zeta shuttle leaving, so the quote could be "our callsign is... Rogue? Rogue One". Portion of the temple, a few x-wings and y-wings. Admittedly not sure how it would work out with the scale but just an idea! For one of the smaller sets I'd also suggest Galen's homestead. Galen, young Jyn, Krennic?
  8. Finally added 75135 Obi-Wan's interceptor after searching for a good deal for a while. In truth I mostly bought it for my own MOC though. I am rather peeved that I missed out on two Rebels Phantom IIs complete with Thrawn though - both for twenty euros. Pipped to the post despite messaging the sellers only ten minutes after they went up, in both cases...
  9. Yeah, Gian speeder is another one. (If anyone has a Radiant VII going spare let me know...!) Insta-buy if it came true. I seem to remember a few predictions for a system U-wing based on speculation it would be in Andor, which I don't think it will, but a UCS one would be awesome.
  10. The grey one does have a certain charm to it I think. If you threw in some light weathering and greebles, that could quite easily be converted to a 'what-if-the-rebellion-got-hold-of-one' idea.
  11. To be honest I'd like more TPM sets in general, particularly the lesser-known ones. Since the 2015 wave where there were four or five sets, I think we've had a grand total of two, and none since 2019. That podracer is one of my favourite SW sets, but still. One of my white whale sets is the Radiant VII set from 2007, and I'd love a remake of that in a similar style to the Tantive IV. If not a D2C, then could be in a similar vein to Gideon's cruiser. Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, TC-14, the pilot and co-pilot, possibly an extra crew member or astromech, and Chancellor Valorum for something a bit different.
  12. Finally received the AT-TE and Jedi Starfighter. Naturally went straight for Ron McPhatty's modded Delta which looks great. Big fan of the AT-TE as well - it's my first big GAR vehicle, and I think is the biggest system-scale set I've bought since the Sandcrawler. Definitely going to try and make a crab droid for my 212th bois to square up against though.
  13. These are great, a bit like oversized microfighters. I'm not overly familiar with the Kenner toys but you've captured their 'Kenner-iness' perfectly!
  14. I wonder what the quote for Jabba's throne would be. It would be funny if they put something in Huttese.
  15. Mega job on this, some really great ideas for sets in there. Weirdly I think the Orbaks might be my favourite - I'm a sucker for brick-built creatures. Inquisitorius set is also really nice even if it did give me flashbacks of that damn Trilla fight...
  16. That's a marked improvement, I must admit I wasn't sure the extension would solve it to the extent it did. It's certainly less complex than my idea...!
  17. You could try and put some sort of stay sticking out the back of the dropship, to essentially push the back of the AT-TE down and keep the front up. It might have to be fairly substantial depending on how much force is required, but it could be retractable, and it wouldn't require a connection to the walker.
  18. I will say that as far as battle pack builds go, I thought the TLG one did a pretty good job of replicating the one on-screen. Needless to say yours does a better job though!
  19. Wow, that's seriously impressive. I can't remember how they walk in the movies/TV series, but the motion looks phenomenal. Is there a way of mounting the middle leg cranks a bit higher up? It might help to hide some of the gubbins underneath, as well as making it less likely to snap off by being more vertical.
  20. Wow, that landing pad looks phenomenal with the lights.
  21. This is great. I love how you've managed to fit basically every major Citadel scene from the movie in there. In terms of stability, without looking at it in detail I think it seems ok structurally (always worth a test build it possible, of course). The only concern I would have would be that it would tip forwards quite easily, so perhaps putting some Scarif beaches to widen the base out front might be an idea? It would help to break up the grey a bit as well, and you could even try to fit in that pod that Cassian and Jyn use to get to the tower, even if it's at a smaller scale than the rest.
  22. Pre-ordered the AT-TE and Kenobi's Starfighter from JB Spielwaren. It seems that there's a bit of a delay on the AT-TE so will get it a bit later, but I don't mind so much. Unbelievably paying to have these shipped over from Germany still works out cheaper than just buying them in Finland - the AT-TE is more expensive than the Justifier here and some other places. So much for LEGO's consistent pricing! Also got some lights from Game of Bricks for some of my SW MOCs. Has anyone here had any experience with these?

This looks mega - looking forward to seeing more pictures! In case you haven't taken them already, I will say you may want to move the left-hand viewport (on the right in your picture) towards the centre... I'm sure it's just a mistake (easily done!) but at the moment it does look like this walker has one eyebrow raised!
  24. GWPs is a neat idea. I like @Omand's Operation Stardust (Rogue One supremacy and all that), but for something a bit more out of left-field... How about the Jedi archives with a Jocasta Nu figure? I know it's not really from any movies (I can't even remember if she was in the Clone Wars all that prominently), but I can't think of many better ways to get her in minifigure form.
  25. @Mandalorianknight a couple of suggestions: Microfighter dual pack: Zam's airspeeder and Obi-Wan and/or Anakin's yellow speeder. Always appears on wishlists so could be an interesting twist on it... Similarly, I'll suggest the oft-requested Exegol duel, but as a quote set ("and I... Am all the Jedi"). I'll let you decide which price range to put it in, but it could maybe fit in the $25-40 range since the bulk of it would be palpatine's robot arm.
