  1. I scored a huge haul yesterday - I was at a Value Village and for $13 CAD picked up a giant bag of Lego. Turns out it was about 90% of a City Fire Station 60110. I cleaned and rebuilt it - I had to use about a dozen pieces from my own collection and had to make some substitutions (mainly in the colour of the piece or using two 2x1 instead of one 4x1, etc) for pieces I didn't have. There were also a bunch of extra pieces as well! Try and guess where I had to make substitutions! There's only two spots that I just left empty. I'm excited now for all these plates and tiles - also any ideas for a next red-coloured build?
  2. Crab Mech is powered by Grimace, who - like a crab - only feels the need to consume and destroy.
  3. Good advice, and I do have enough red slopes to make it wider - thank you!
  4. This is gorgeous, and so original!

Oh wow, that's really amazing! I really like the ... base details
  6. Glad to see they've finally finished the JWST! How did you make the golden triangle reflector dish? It's so neat!

Wow! This is gorgeous! I really love the little details - the historically accurate clothing and the really fun wrought iron streetlamp.
  8. Hi all, I'm a new AFOL, and I wanted to share my first MOC! I picked up a few kits at a garage sale and I decided to make a scientific research vessel. I didn't have enough blue bricks to cover the board, but I'm pretty proud of the water trail that I made instead. I was aiming to make the ship a bit cluttered with equipment, but I think I may have overdone it. I'd love feedback on it!
  9. Hi all, I'm Kate, and I live in Ottawa, Canada. I've just gotten into Lego again as an adult - I impulse bought an old 90s space insect kit I had as a kid at a garage sale, found it really soothing and fun to put together, and now I'm getting hooked! I've started making my own MOCs, though I'm only working from limited bricks right now, and I'm excited to get involved in this community! I'm working on my first MOC, a scientific research vessel. (Didn't have enough blue to make the whole board, but I kind of like the effect.)
