  1. As a whole, the helmet sets are very nice. Scout Trooper looks very accurate and the shapes has been captured very well. Darth Vader less so, but it is understandable since the shape is a lot more complex. Imperial Probe Droid may have looked better if it followed the same style but it looks good as is. Overall, this wave is a huge improvement compared to the last wave. The value isn't as good but that will not stop me from getting the sets.

    Welcome to Eurobricks!
  3. A white background will make the instructions even harder to read since the set itself already contains a lot of white bricks. TLG has updated many of their other instruction manuals but I think the black feels appropriate here.
  4. Overall, this wave seems to be interesting and a little weird... The chess set seems to be an interesting idea and I appreciate LEGO trying out something unique (like I always did). However, there are many more complex sets for the same price so it is questionable whether it will sell well or not. Furthermore, the build should be rather repetitive at such a large scale. Personally, I may pick it up if the final product looks good. But I am still pretty surprised that this will be the D2C set... Even though Fawkes may not be in high demand, I can understand LEGO doing something similar since Hedwig sold extremely well. If the final product looks good I will pick up this one as well. Buildable characters are a pretty weird choice, but I won't judge the set until I see the official pictures.
  5. Welcome! I really like your instagram posts.

  7. Check it out!
  8. The truck looks great! Even though it may not have 2017 pieces, I still think the pneumatic parts justify the price.
  9. What a beauty! It may be disappointing that it isn't the same scale as Saturn V, but I ultimately think they have made the right decision. As the owner of all 3 previous space sets, I can't wait to add this to my collection!
  10. @that_lego_builder I think you have already created a topic: Also, it's been confirmed that it is an AT-AT.
  11. There is always a possibility since $400 would be a lot cheaper than ordering the parts separately. Though I do think most sets that get crowdfunded would be small/medium sized.

Same thing was happening to me but it's working now.
  13. The Saturn V was considered underpriced by many so this will still sell well at a higher PPP. I think 2500 pieces would make the price reasonable.

  16. I wanted this one for a long time! Will definitely support it.
  17. I really like the idea of including the Hubble Space Telescope! It adds a lot more to the authenticity. I also think the decision to make it Discovery was a last minute decision since the Columbia idea received many complaints...
  18. Just a little more expensive than official LEGO sets the same size.
  19. What a great selection of projects! Really looking forward to see which one will make it...
  20. I'm not sure if it has been out of stock for a long time in UK, but in where I live it was only out for 1 month and then returned.
  21. I don't think they are doing it on purpose either, some sets are just hugely popular these days. If a set has been out of stock for more than half a year, it is probably not coming back even if it is listed as "temporarily out of stock".
