Looks like my October 9th standard order is finally being shipped since the status has been changed to shipped. No charge to credit card yet or actual shipping notification. Now just the three orders from November left to be shipped.

I agree with everyone that we need more Disney Minifig sets. I totally missed the minifig reference in the original post about the Snow White Cottage. I would like a few more detailed Disney sets with Minifigures rather than Minidolls like almost everyone else. I guess that's what has kept me from actually buying any of the Rapunzel sets or some of the other sets I might have considered getting. And I don't want any of the smaller micro mini dolls or whatever they call them like what they used in the Advent Calendar. I did buy & build the Snow White Cottage. It was such a lovely set and enjoyable build. I even built a mine for the Dwarfs.

There have been several versions of the Madrigal House, multiples of Rapunzel's Tower as well as Arendelle Castle. Granted they are mostly playsets but they do exist already.

Apparently all the social media influencers. Not us mere mortals.

I'd much rather they focus on Christmas at the Burrow or Grimmauld Place. The figures for a Yule Ball themed Advent Calendar would most likely be repeats of the ones we already got. Any side builds would pale in comparison to what we got the first time around as they keep cutting back on piece counts.

So from start to finish the Chat took an hour. Three minutes with the chatbot, 20 minutes waiting for a human. Then pauses in responses from the human lasting anywhere between 5 & 10 minutes. Still no resolution. Was told if the parts don't ship in the coming weeks I can contact them again to cancel the order. Two orders placed after this one have been shipped but they still can't seem to do anything to move this one along. Oh and at the end she gifted me with "insider points to use at my discretion". Told her I didn't want the order cancelled. At this rate I'll be lucky to get the parts for next Christmas. My Crocs are still tailless and the gorilla bodies that are on the way are armless until I get this order.

I've been in chat for over a 1/2 hour & getting nowhere.

The stock has always varied depending on where it comes from. The only thing that's different right now is that North America is currently restricted to purchasing what is currently warehoused in Illinois as best sellers while the rest of the world has access to all parts currently listed on PAB unless they are out of stock. So currently we have a pool of under 5000 parts available while the rest of the world has access to at least 3 times that. What would help more than separate threads would be for people to simply state where they are ordering from when they post about parts being available. We can't even see what's considered to be standard parts right now other than the few new parts that were just added.

Still waiting on two orders from October 9 & October 28 but it looks like they might have just shipped the October 28 one as it's now showing as shipped. I haven't received shipping notification, receipt or notification that my credit card has been billed for it yet though. Guess I'll call them again tomorrow about the October 9th order, was planning to wait until Friday but if others are now getting their orders re-ordered I guess I'll give it a try. I have 3 more orders from November 7, 23 & 29 I'm still waiting on also..

I've been using Minifig Scan also with little trouble. I find an occasional code that won't scan but overall I've had a 100% success rate with the ones that do scan. I originally was using the Brick Search app but it was quite sluggish for the D&D series so I switched to Minifig Scan. Once I heard they were limiting you to 12 free scans with Brick Search I deleted it. As already stated there are plenty of free apps that work much better than Brick Search.

They are some interesting builds but the Siege Encampment seems way overpriced due to all the minifigs. It's not really something I'm interested in. I might consider the Harbor one but really want the Tortuga & Transylvania ones coming in the later series.

The only place I've found them is in my local Scheels (No Beastmaster found in about 500 boxes I scanned). Been to 3 different Targets & 1 Walmart with no sign of the CMF's. When I was in Walmart the other day the guy that was unpacking boxes in the toy section told me that a lot of the LEGO was labeled not to be put out until their week 50 which should be sometime toward the end of next week. They did have an almost full new hanging display of the D&D series. He was unpacking some LEGO but we didn't see any boxes that could have been the Series 27 CMF's. I haven't ventured to check in Best Buy or Barnes & Noble yet. And I discovered that the Public Improvement Fees for the shopping center where Scheels is has basically been upped to the point where it adds an additional 4.5% onto the cost of items purchased there in addition to state & local Sales tax so that may become my store of last resort.

Looks like they are doing the build on January 12 in my store. Always the day after our monthly LUG meeting it seems. It's cute but not likely I'll do the 3 hour round trip again just for this.

Not sure if the horns are molded or painted but the part is over $5. If there's any printing they up the price considerably. Look at the difference in price of any of the plain birds and the ones with printed eyes or even the butterflies.

Always have to consider the animals and anything dual molded. Most seem to be going for around $2.00 if not more if they make it to PAB. Dual molded can be $3.50-$5 or more just like the turtle & goat. Figure that you get all the minifig pieces too & it's a no brainer to grab multiples for the animals. Even better if you find the CMF's on sale somewhere. I found a bunch of D&D ones at 1/2 off within a month of release at a local Target so I bought a lot of them for the parts. I know I got several of the Diver with turtle, Toucan & Koala in case they never showed up again. Also a bunch of the girl with the Foal. Look at what the individual parts for the Space Baby cost, way more than the CMF's were.

As one who doesn't collect police, fire, airport or vehicles this year's City selection is mostly a big miss for me. I guess I'm more into farm, nature & adventure type sets so am happier with City when there's lots of space, exploration & outdoors style sets. I know there are those who prefer more city type builds & vehicles but Creator & the Modulars do those so much better. I want homes & interesting buildings rather than more vehicles, airports, police & fire sets. There's definitely need for those types of sets but I prefer the adventurous subthemes while others don't think they belong under the City banner. And maybe they should separate the adventure style sets into a separate theme outside of City.

I never heard of it either. Count me as only interested if there are good usable pirate & ship parts.

I find the more expensive sets in this theme to be more interesting but tend to end up not getting them unless I find a great deal on them. I don't like the mechs so most of the cheap & midrange sets aren't anything I would actually buy. I would guess there is an audience for this theme but mostly I just buy the individual parts I want when they show up on PAB. It was the same with the Monkie Kid sets for me.

I know the aqua colored house with observatory is the iconic one people remember but I'm a little disappointed they didn't go with the original yellow house we see for most of the movie. I guess I'll need to moc the original house. I really like how they recreated Scrump with the dreamling body.

I found the Series 27 CMF's in my local Scheels store today. There had to have been at least 400-500 figures if not more in the display. Scanned them all and not 1 Wolfpack Beastmaster in the entire lot. Surprisingly to me there were less than 10 of the Pirate Quartermaster but plenty of the Steampunk Inventor. Lots of all the others. I grabbed a few of the Pirate, Steampunk, Bogeyman & one of the Plush toy one for the Plushies. Also managed to get a few of the new polybags.

Checked my Walmart. None of the new series. There was a guy unpacking boxes including lots of LEGO so I asked but he couldn't find any. They are making the Collectible Portraits a lot harder to get than the Chocolate Frog Cards were. At least with the Frog Cards they put them in one of the Polybags making it easier to try to find the ones you were missing.

Based on all the leaks so far I think it's going to be slim pickins for non-Friends new animals in 2025. Expecting little other than possible recolors of existing Arctic animals. Personally I wish they would revisit the prehistoric animals in City Arctic from a few years back since I missed out on those. Hoping for new colored Horses in the rumored Castle sets, black or gray would be much appreciated at this point. But with the Castle sets being Creator 3-in-1 they could likely be brick built. Friends will probably get some interesting new animals but City will be severely lacking it seems. Any dogs in City theme will likely have those molded on harnesses unfortunately.

The only ones on this list currently peaking my interest are the two Arctic sets, possibly the Train Station & maybe the Advent Calendar. So basically all the really expensive ones.
