  1. I just hope they're not mostly gimmick sets.
  2. If its real Lego will be the least of his worries.
  3. Any idea what the other sets were?
  4. I think the sets were already planned before the celebration and they are just tacking them on to take advantage of the marketing. Really though this whole celebration is confusing, why not just celebrate 15 years of TCW if you're primarily marketing it instead of the multimedia project? I guarantee a small set with Fordo, Kenobi, and some regular P1 clones would still sell incredibly well if the recent Fighter Tank is anything to go by.
  5. 4475 - Jabba's Message, sadly I don't have the other two sets in the collection.
  6. Those price per piece ratios are horrible.
  7. I will go ahead and say the 160$ is most likely (80% chance) a playscale Gunship. Its been requested for a while and I could see it being released to tie into the 20th CW anniversary. Only other two sets I could see it being are a Sail Barge (which I think is the 200$ one) or the Mantis. Those 15$ sets are interesting, even though accessory packs don't have regular set numbers maybe they're a modified retail version of them? The biggest complaint for them imo was the poor availability.
  8. I agree with his stance on the waist capes, the printed ones look horrible to the point you're better off just putting regular legs on them. I don't know how expensive or difficult producing specific cloth pieces are for minifigures but I imagine a simple one color kama wouldn't be too much of a logistical issue. The macrobinoculars not having a blue stripe is fine, I think the plastic is manufactured similar to the other helmet attachments so prints may not be possible. Not to mention I can put them on any future P2 or P1 Clone.
  9. I think a Gunship is very likely this summer wave given there isn't much new content to pull a large set from outside of the Fondor (also the Mantis but it may be too soon for that). It almost certainly won't be Muunilist 10, though I think a small 2003 CW set may be possible.
  10. I just wish it had the black line printed. Hopefully more than one is included. The bomber does indeed look almost too good to be true for the price. The 4 stud wide window piece has me a bit worried scale wise.
  11. BF2 is canon for the most part so yes. When they did the Clone Trooper appearance overhaul update they even consulted Lucasfilm for how they should look iirc.
  12. Generally by January/Feb we should have price points/numbers and names by March/April. We've had some years where preliminaries for summer have leaked in December though so anything can happen.
  13. I know we don't have clear images yet but based off the leak is there a reason Lego is shifting the print down on helmets when the previous prints were fine?
  14. The only thing we could have missed out on were some specialized Clone Troopers and maybe a newer Ep 2 Anakin/Padme. The decision for an Ep 3 set was the right call if only so we can finally stop talking about Cody. Keep in mind Ep 1 didn't get a celebration for its 20th and I have a feeling RotS won't either.
  15. We had the 20th anniversary of Ep 2 this year and next year will be RotJ's 40th and TCW's 15th so I think this may be a SW wide branding campaign that Lego is associating their sets with. It would be weird to celebrate 20 years of CW with figures that mostly didn't exist until a 2019 BF2 content update.
  16. I agree, I get that there are a lot of needed OT remakes but we still have several unique OT/PT/ST vehicles that should take priority. An updated X-Wing or Lambda is cool but I'd rather have a Nebulon-B or Eta-2.
  17. But all of the Falcon's figures had modern releases by that point, they were only super detailed versions of themselves. Kuill has never appeared in a set and tbh I don't see him appearing in anything except an Advent Calendar soon. He won't be 150$ but I can see him costing a good chunk of change. I know I'm beating a dead horse here but I guess this is confirmation that Lego is going back on their UCS minifigure policy?
  18. I mean there's also the Swamp Speeder but that's probably more obscure at this point.
  19. I know Sloane is a big character in the comics but surely we will get Cal soon, its almost comical we're getting a Squadrons tie-in before FO.
  20. It was probably the result of "Hey, we need a 25$ Clone set that isn't a walker, we also have this Twilek head mold we spent a ton of money on". Tbh none of the TX-130s have been directly inspired by a specific game or movie.
  21. I'll gladly take a small cannon over another BARC speeder or Spider Droid.
  22. You can get kinda close if you flip or remove the railed plates towards the window that prevent the canopy from lowering.
  23. Built mine last week, it looks a lot better in person. You can also easily flip two plates around to get rid of the gap. If it wasn't for the flat sides and height it would easily be my favorite rendition of it but for now I still prefer the 2017 one model wise.
  24. A Cobalt based ARC would be incredible, though I think Promobricks would note it specifically.
  25. 2 on the left, 1 in the middle, 1 on the right. The Heavy (left most) will most likely have a different torso and helmet print while the Specialist/Sniper (right most) will have a normal torso with 2 small marks on the chest. The Officer (middle) will probably have a unique kama/leg print.
