[GBC] The Akiyuki Project (2010 - 2020)
ixodie replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingIf you are talking about Ball Factory 3, I have the Akiyuki version I am selling if anyone is interested. It is 99% color accurate and 99% new parts.

[GBC] The Akiyuki Project (2010 - 2020)
ixodie replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingDoes anyone have any recommendations for aligning/tuning the Fork to Fork module? I completed it but it doesn't seem to work properly. Not sure exactly what I'm doing wrong.

Bricklink questions
What is the best and ideally most simple app I can use to enter my collection so I can track parts that i need for builds? I do not plan on selling items, I just want to easily record what parts I have. It needs to integrate with Bricklink. Thanks for the suggestions!

[GBC] To and Fro
ixodie replied to Splat's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI'd like to build this but when I upload the xml to bricklink it doesn't recognize the file. I also tried pasting the text content and when it validates it just spins and spins. Anyone have a working bsx file? Thanks!

[GBC] The Akiyuki Project (2010 - 2020)
ixodie replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingYes and one hole to the right as well. The instructions are unclear. Finally got some nice movement out of this one. I imagine if you had recirculation and a lot balls this could be very interesting.

Liebherr control missing in Powered Up app?
Is it me or is this control template no longer available within the app?

[GBC] The Akiyuki Project (2010 - 2020)
ixodie replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingFor the life of me I cannot get this thing to tilt properly. I replaced the 1x2 with 60483 as you suggested, which is much more reliable. I have the tow ball positioned as in the photo, but the tilt does not complete properly. I studied the .io file and it looks like it is in the right place. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

[GBC] The Akiyuki Project (2010 - 2020)
ixodie replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThanks! The 7l axles is a good solution, I will try it later today. For the tilt shift, I can't seem to figure out which holes on the underside it should connect to. Everything I have tried causes the other ball joint to pull the 2l thin piece off the rotating mechanism. Thanks for your help, eager to get this one done!

Control all your Powered Up & Power Function (SBrick) devices with a single software
I posted on the repo, does anyone have instructions to compile the msft c++ app on a machine without visual studio? I only have visual code and ms build to compile this. But if someone tells me how to do it I will provide my experience here. Also, if anyone can clearly demonstrate to me that they can compile cross-system for OSX, I will ship you a Mac Mini to test dev builds. Thanks to everyone working on this cool project!

[GBC] The Akiyuki Project (2010 - 2020)
ixodie replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingGBC Tilt Shift question... In step 86, what is the double ended ball joint connector actually connected to? I cannot make it reach the preinstalled ball connector. In the image it doesn't show what it connects to. Does anyone have a Studs file for this?

[GBC] The Akiyuki Project (2010 - 2020)
ixodie replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingSpiral Lift v2 tuning question.... The balls are spilling from the red hose right in the middle of the system, mostly when there are multiple balls on that side at once. The weight of the balls pulls on the tubing and they slip past the tube, about 2/3 of the way along the long part of the mechanism. Any ideas for how to improve on this? Do I need to cut down the tube one notch so it is more taught? Any other suggestions?

[GBC] The Akiyuki Project (2010 - 2020)
ixodie replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingCan someone help me troubleshoot Akiyuki Spiral Lift? Every time I try to rotate the column a little bit the spiral black gears attached to the bottom axle force the liftarm-5s out of their sockets. How are these supposed to rotate freely without gradually pushing the liftarms off?
