  1. Some mods I made to the Ghost set - Added in some colour up top, modified the under side with white pieces, added in some slopes to front and rear and built up the underside of tail section. Also added in landing gear. Was not going for 100% accuracy but rather just making it look what i though was better than stock set. Phantom 1 - simple autoturret and extended the engines to look like the hyperdrive ones. Phantom 2 - Added in engine detail and some simple cannons under the ships front sides. Let me know your thoughts.
  2. Hi all, Great mods, I finally finished mine, please let me know your thoughts. This was my first star wars set and my first attempt at mods. It is almost all Lego but the grey engine grille piece is Mega Construx (from harrier set). I added in the usual interior mods, ladder, gun rack, toilet. Made the landing gear fold flat, modified engines added slopes to underside of wings and filed gaps at tail section. Also modified the cannons to look more like on show especially the side fins on them, and I built up the intakes/flat pieces on underside of engines to look more like show. The underside was probably the trickiest part for me to design, good old trial and error.
  3. Hi All, I modified the 20th anniversary set to be more like the UCS. Check out the photos on Flickr and let me know thoughts. I integrated the carry handle and kept in the stud shooters (just covered up) added in a couple of tiles in cockpit, added clips to hold blasters in cockpit, added in tiles to smooth out underside of tail section, added in missiles, ion cannon and seismic charges, customized winglet section https://flic.kr/s/aHsmSGB6Fg
  4. Great mods all, keep it up. it was your posts that inspired me to try. Modified the cannons to look more like show, added in plate pieces to various areas, changed engine front, added slopes at engine top of wings, modified landing gear so it folds in like fighter jet, added in tiles to underside to add detail and shaping at wing area, closed gap at tail section. Check out my photos let me know thoughts. https://www.flickr.com/photos/190971898@N05/shares/ANLDs5
