Unpopular Opinions about LEGO
I agree with most of your points but not these two :P I never bought or built the Arocs, so maybe I am missing something, but what do you dislike about the set? As for the mechanically interesting models... I have the opposite opinion: less cars and more new, special functions (without electronics)!

There is a thread about sticker hate so maybe some people there already shared the same opinion as you have:

Surprisingly expensive pieces
Not exactly what you were going for I guess, but I just wanted to share this story :3 I once got a canister of Toa Lewa from a flea market as a kid when I was naive enough to believe that the entire set of Lewa would be inside of it and didn't check it. When I got home it was just some random bionicle lego pieces. One of which was the infected mask: So of course I was sad there was no Lewa. A few years ago I decide to look up how much some of the masks I have cost, and I was surprised the infected mask is sold for around 15 euro on BL!

What next vintage set could be recreated by TLG ?
Maybe something from the adventurers series? Although we already had some kind of tribute with 10273 so maybe not. Part of me hopes for Bionicle as big mechs like they exist in exo-force/ninjago/monkey-kid/...

Unpopular Opinions about LEGO
Yep, I was also thinking about the very big ones. Like this snake in 70674: You can still use those as a real butterfly and a real bat somehow.

Unpopular Opinions about LEGO
The vinyl pieces feel single purpose to me. Like those airplane nose pieces although people have been able to put them to good use in their MOC's. I do like both sets in a different way (I am not talking about the stickers, as I have already shared my opinion on those) Also, about the fish, I guess children love fish-slap-fights? Fish is food and fish is linked to pirates so it kinda makes sense they both have access to fish.

Normally they still do. What they don't do it for is different shades of brown. If there is normal brown and dark brown I cannot easily differentiate between the colors

40580 Buildable Tahu: Bionicle returns in 2023!
Yep, I had one Slizer-set :) With "Lava" written on its face. I still hold the opinion that the technical part of Bionicle was way more fun than the build-able figurines part. But looking at all those Bionicle MOCs, I guess I am a minority in that aspect. Not that the technical aspects where that complex, but enough to spark my interest in other Technic sets. Lets hope that they ever create a line in Technic again with technical beasts or something like that :D

Technic Parts We Would Find Useful
Lira_Bricks replied to gyenesvi's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI am not the person you are asking the question to, but it can be connected to an air tank. This can be used to make a train drive without needing batteries or electricity, just like the old ones for example.

40580 Buildable Tahu: Bionicle returns in 2023!
Early Bionicle was mostly Technic, which makes this decision even weirder... Just look at the Rahi from 2001, or Cahdok and Gahdok, Takua and Pewku,... Sure, later it became more like Hero Factory where it was mostly connecting sockets to ball-joints, but I always liked the technical parts of Bionicle the most.

doesn't monkey kid live in container homes? Never paid attention to the lore behind it all, but I can remember some sets having container homes

[TC24] Space Mosquito
Lira_Bricks replied to JoKo's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingSeems we were looking at the same parts lol... that part from the mixer-truck and those transparent panels :') Glad I got another idea so we have something different (no longer using those pieces) Good luck in the contest! :)

Seems like that idea was also pitched for Takanuva

40580 Buildable Tahu: Bionicle returns in 2023!
https://www.newelementary.com/2023/01/lego-review-40581-bionicle-tahu-and.html While I am still no fan of the set, it does look better then it did on the leaks I saw.

[TC24] Space Police Contest - Information Topic
Lira_Bricks replied to Jim's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingAre arms allowed as long as they are not used to walk on? Like in the set 4792?

40580 Buildable Tahu: Bionicle returns in 2023!
That would complete it, if that awful set also came with stickers lmao
- Help with identifying parts/sets!

40580 Buildable Tahu: Bionicle returns in 2023!
I hope that the leaks that I was able to find are fake and you are talking about something else, because otherwise... damn that is bad. Just a plain boring Creator 3-1 build with some printed pieces to match their masks. Keep in mind that that build uses some techniques that Lego themselves don't seem to like, especially around the knees and elbows, and might not be stable. Those feet don't look like they can hold any weight

The Love for Printed Pieces Thread/Sticker Resentment Thread
Funny you mention it. It seems difficult for Lego to properly apply prints to those small 1x1 round tiles At least there are always spare parts in sets and it has never happened to me that both were misprinted :P

The Love for Printed Pieces Thread/Sticker Resentment Thread
Printed pieces will not drive the prices up in itself, those prices are already going up all by themselves just fine to increase the profit of the Lego Company even more I didn't like stickers as a child and don't like them now. Reasons can be found in the other sticker-haters comments ^^

Nah, how about a Magic the Gathering (also Hasbro iirc) set with the characters from Bionicle!

Unpopular Opinions about LEGO
Popular opinion: If a set does come with stickers, the stickers should at the very least not be put separately in the box to prevent it from being folded in multiple ways. Just opened a set with folded stickers. Great.

Unpopular Opinions about LEGO
Oh, they look very cute indeed! Wonder if those studs on the side are ears and those bubbles are eyes, or if the studs are eyes and the bubbles are nostrils... Or maybe they are neither because this is an alien that might have a body that differs completely from that of a human :D

Unpopular Opinions about LEGO
Can't people with very specific needs buy the instructions of MOC's and the parts from sites like Brick Owl or Brick Link? Or look at instructions of other brands that use the same system as Lego? Or build them together with other people that have the same need because then you can combine your talents to make the perfect set that fits your needs? I really don't get the anger some people have at 5+-sets... Also, lots of buildings related to police or the fire department are just regular buildings, in red, with a logo of the service slapped on it. Same thing with the vehicles: build a regular car with red bricks; make a fire-sticker and paste it on the front; put a firefighter in it; ??? profit! --- If they bring back a space-theme with spaceships, I really hope it is not again a "humans=good;aliens=bad". And especially not like Mars Mission, where they invade a planet and take the aliens hostage in those weird tubes.

General Part Discussion
Lira_Bricks replied to Polo-Freak's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingYou could still cover the inner or outer circle. It would have been better if they were in the same direction though
