At most have the clone commanders and Cpt. Phasma in the CMF and maybe a generic stormy or shiny. It either has to be an entire line only of troopers with no commanders or the commanders have to be treated as individual characters in a saga CMF. And if we’re at the point of having a trooper CMF just bring the darn battle packs back. People will buy more of them.

The one “new” design for a hero I can think of off the top of my head is a redesigned TCW Anakin. It’ll probably be small redesigns, changing a print color to be more accurate here, adding more scorch marks to pre-Mustafar Obi and Ani there…in all seriousness they had better put at least Rex and Cody in the CMFs if we can’t just have a line of clones

Tbf Fordo is an awesome character so I’m not as annoyed as I could be but the more I think about it the more I’m leaning towards skipping the Gunship entirely and going for the AT AT. On that note, anyone else worried that the AT AT won’t have an interior or movable legs? The past couple 800 dollar sets have been basically statues, which is fine, but the AT AT’s legs are an iconic part of the set and they’ve straight up said not being able to figure them out is why we haven’t had one in 22 years, so I’m a tad worried. edit: also the Rise of Skywalker discourse is stupid. They’ve always focused on what’s currently out. Prequel sets were wildly successful (ex. the fabled 2013 line) but they’re no longer culturally relevant in the same way. That’s like saying that because they didn’t make many R1 sets in 2017, R1 sets failed. TLJ was the focus. Sequels sets sold really well with the exception of the Dorito Tie and the TLJ wave because the TLJ wave was mishandled IMO. Star Wars is just going into a more TV focused era and the fans have screeched for TCW for long enough to get Lego to do it.

The one from Empire looks black against the snow so I think that's what it came from. Also, every single minifig-scale probe droid has been black so...

Cody should be in an Utapau Obi-Wan v Grievous set with the Varactyl and Grievous's bike. 50-60 bucks. The clone pilots thing makes literally no sense, they really decided to put knockoff Captain Fordo instead of an actual pilot for the darn ship. LoGiC. wait people complained about the Falcon lineup?! It's all of both crews minus Obi-Wan...the heck? Edit: turns out it isn't but still that lineup was pretty darn good.

I’m sorta conflicted on this set. It’s kinda expensive and it’s not gonna be minifig scale but it’s also going to be really big and detailed and I think it’ll be an awesome display piece. The figs are the most disappointing part tbh. Guess I’ll just have to wait to see what it looks like.

We’re really not sure on the Vader one, or on the inclusion of black pieces. I’ve heard rumors of a majority of neon green pieces and Rose Tico, a Porg and an unnamed purple Ewok being the minifigures.

Do we know how many pieces the Cruiser is going to be or is that too far out still?

TIE Pilots are in more movies then clones, and a rebel pilot is basically a ball which is difficult to do with the way the current model system is set up. A clone helmet is a no-brainer though. Also a brick-built clear visor would kind of look crappy with all the brick lines through it.

That comment on Ehrenreich actually makes a lot of sense. It has always felt off to me and that’s probably why. I do like the piece (mostly because I like more detail on figs as opposed to less) but it could have been a bit more cut back? If that makes sense? Then again it is a Lego fig and not a Black Series or something so maybe I’m asking for too much variation.

So I just got 75302 and it’s…nice. It’s not the best thing they could have done and I’m certain it’s no Tydirium, but with the exception of that chin, it’s actually quite nice.

So I saw on Instagram that the helmets and the probe droid are coming out in April? That doesn’t seem right though because usually the pics get dropped on Lego.com the month before and we have yet to see any of them. I’m guessing the acc was wrong and they’re still set for May but I was just curious if anyone else knew anything about this.

(insert “but Lego never has good ideas” joke here) I don’t see Tython as a set. It’s not a very visually interesting place and there isn’t much opportunity for play features, ya sort of just have the little altar thing Grogu’s on and that’s it. Cobb’s speeder with a micro scale krayt dragon to go with ToT tho…that would be brilliant.

Yes there is a $30 Target set. My guess is Obi-Wan’s starfighter but as others have pointed out that isn’t likely granted that Anakin’s is still on shelves.

Almost definitely. May is helmets, UCS R2 and that’s it. I’d love it if it was a May 4 release but I really don’t see that happening.

Am I the only one still getting "coming soon" messages on March 1 releases? It's past 12 where I am so they should be available. EDIT: They're up and I got my shuttle. Haven't gotten a confirmation email yet tho; hope it won't be like last time.

That rumor re: Gideon's cruiser sounds great but idk how they'd do something that big at a $160 price point without sacrificing literally all the interior. Like I'm worried that it would be UCS ISD-style and that was barely fine because it was a UCS. Gideon's cruiser would hopefully be a playset.

Honestly I think P2 Cody not being a thing by this point is Lego meming on us because they can. Or if he gets made he'll be in a VIP promo for purchases of over a thousand dollars or something.
