It’s probably going to be super bulky, and the rumored figs are just astronomically disappointing. I can do a lot with 350 and get some much better sets that fit better with my collection.

Is the UCS AT-AT lined up for a September or November release? Curious because it changes my budget.

They could do something along the lines of the UCS Falcon but on a much smaller scale: put both eras of character in it. So Jabba, Bib Fortuna for the OT and Painted Boba, Fennec for the Mando Era. That way it's both accurate to the current point in the timeline and useable as Jabba's Palace.

Yeah probably 2023 at the earliest if they don’t decide to do an individual remake for every X-Wing and TIE in RONR. Bad Batch probably won’t get anymore sets, Boba might get Jabba’s palace (if there’s no fake outrage about it again) and some antagonist bounty hunter’s ship for May 2022, and then Mando 3 will probably be the focus of the summer wave for 2022, even though I’m betting 2022 will be for SW like this year was for Marvel; stuff nearly every week (so Boba, Mando, Kenobi, Ahsoka probably).

We should at least get a Rex. Cody would be a stretch (unrelated but the Codyjerk needs to end, I wanted him in the gunship too but chill, we'll get him eventually) but Rex is the most famous clone bar Boba, and we got a Boba. And actually Rex has had aeons more screen time. It makes too much sense for them not to make his helmet at some point.

I just had a bit of an epiphany. What if the $30 “mystery” set is an Obi-Wan Starfighter to match Anakin’s from last summer? Someone’s probably already theorized this but it randomly popped into my head. The release time and the price point are right, and it would make sense IMO.

Ahsoka is still a bit stylized in comparison to other characters (no pupils for one), but the square anime eyes are thankfully a thing of the past. Lego Star Wars actually use an interesting and new piece to properly represent a character's design? Perish the thought, that would involve them actually caring ;)

I’d prefer a dark trooper, as long as the Bo from the fighter has the owl markings (it seems to be S7 based so it should). Dark troopers are better to have more of IMO because anyone who’s buying the Arquitens will probably buy the Fang anyway, so more troops is better then duplicates of a hero.

Does anyone have any idea when May or summer pics usually drop? Just curious, I’m on the edge with the ITT and a few others and want to be able to plan. Also do we know anything about there being a vignette promo like Hoth, Endor and the Trench Run? Or will that just be the Lars Homestead?

This sounds really stupid but Tech could ALMOST work with one of the OG P2 helmets. It would be a cool throwback and it wouldn't look half bad IMO. There's no way in Mustafar they'd do it but still. Honestly I don't see why Wrecker out of all of them gets a new mold. His helmet is basically featureless. Just slap it on a P2, we'll still buy it, and give the much more distinctive Tech the more critical for accuracy new mold

Huh. Weird. K2 is a pretty important part of Cassian’s story as far as I recall and they have a lot of comics together so that’s strange. Oh well. The fig wasn’t the greatest anyway.

That's true, next year will be insane. Mando 3 will probably get cut back, although a Mandalore Palace MBS would be GLORIOUS, Boba Fett doesn't seem like it's got a whole lot of potential for sets (gang stories tend to be a few specific locations and a lot of shootouts, not really much in the way of ships and big set pieces). Obi-Wan might get us a Obi-Wan v Vader duel set but I don't know. Andor is probably going to be the focus of 2022, it's a military story centered on OT ships. (hoping and praying for a UCS Krennic's Shuttle).

So the Gideon's cruiser set has been confirmed to NOT have Bo-Katan, which kind of sucks but also makes sense, she's a super popular character that they are making for the first time, putting her in only one set will sell a lot more of that set, whereas the Cruiser will have Fennec, Gideon and the ship itself to sell it. (While the Mando fighter is also an iconic ship, not everyone has seen Clone Wars and a lot of parents for example will buy it for Bo-Katan for their kid, having seen Mando). The intuitive thing with the Bad Batch would be to put like three of them (thinking Hunter, Echo, and one of the other three) and then spread the other two in other sets to sell more. The fact that they're all together actually makes less sense based on Lego's previous behavior with similar squads (Knights of Ren primarily, I think the Wolfpack was treated in a similar way) and therefore reads less like intuition to me. Slave One, the intuitive thing would be Fennec and Repaint Fett, and the fact that they lowkey blew it with that set makes it all the more believable. A "wishlist" style fig list would be Fennec and Fett, not Solo and Fett, two figs we've had a million times. Ahsoka v. Maul I'll give you.

link for those who are curious. I personally like the look of it. It’s a bit small, but it’ll look nice with the new TIE, and the general ship seems really nice. The cockpit is an easier fix then I thought; just remove the stud shooters and stick some longer angle pieces on there and it should clean up nicely. It’s no Tydirium, obviously, but for someone like me who doesn’t have one it will be...acceptable.

Yeah as a young person with a job I’m going back and forth on this one. I don’t have a Gunship, but I feel like it’s going to be too big and these figs just ain’t it.

We get upset over the printing or lack thereof on a tiny plastic arm smaller then my fingernail. Pedantry as far as the eye can see.

Does anyone know if the AT-AP walker, 75243 is going to come back or is that dead for good? I missed it in my dark ages and can't find one for less then 100 anymore.

I mean the august wave is lowkey amazing...but yeah it probably will just be Windu and the clone captain to make up in terribleness for how good the wave is.

#legoleaks is such a bloody mess lmao. Decalers will use it for new decals, concept artists, leaked figure lists dropped ages ago made with old figures, it's a disaster. Honestly I'm in support of this. The UCS Falcon is a great example. It's so...big...that it doesn't feel like a lego set anymore, and therefore I'm passing up on it. My AT-AT, Slave One and Kylo Shuttle, on the other hand, are smaller, yeah, but they're fun. They're a good size, and they display really bloody well. The UCS A-Wing, on the other hand, is just too big. There's a level at which Lego gets too big, but that could just be that I don't own any UCS sets (the Gunship will be my first ironically tho bc I don't have one)
